In line with the active community support and mobilization of advocacy groups the Directorate for Police Community Relations conducted a Validation on Community Organizing and Mobilization Efforts of the National Capital Region Police Office on July 30, 2021 at NCRPO, Camp Bagong Bicutan, Taguig City.
Discussed during the meeting were the updates on community organizing and mobilization efforts as well as evaluated the results of multiple activities and programs launched by the NCRPO. Continuous improvements are also being done in order to ensure maintenance of peace and order.
PMGEN RHODEL O SERMONIA, DPCR in his speech extended his gratitude to the different advocacy groups and sectors especially on peace and security for sharing their time with the police force. “Natutuwa po kami na it is no longer just the police o hindi na lamang pulis ng public servants kundi meron na rin sa mga private sectors na mga lingkod bayan. And you are really our modern heroes,” he said.
Furthermore, he briefly discussed the E.O70 signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to end local communist and armed conflict. According to him, the formula to succeed in this endeavor is the whole of nation approach which involves all the sectors in the community alongside the good governance and better services of the current administration.
Lastly, he recognized the unyielding support of PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR to the Police Community Relations resulting to the successful winning of the Regional Community Affairs Development Division in several categories during the Culmination of PCR Month on July 29, 2021.
“We can never go wrong in this community partnership with the public. We can never go wrong because our Provincial Directors and Regional Directors and even our C, PNP is a PCR man himself. L,” he said.
The NCRPO has been acknowledging the role of the community in the success of PNP operations. Needless to say, the people in the community are more aware of what is happening in their neighborhood.
PMGEN DANAO has been extending his efforts to the benefit of the community. In return, he has been leading the Team in gaining the trust and confidence of the people. Several community groups has been signing peace covenant and taking their oath and pledging their commitment to support NCRPO in all its endeavor aside from being active in also joining activities and programs of Team NCRPO .###
