TEAM PNP “KAAGAPAY KO” TAPAT, MAY TAPANG AT MALASAKIT PARA SA MAMAMAYAN ROLLING IN MANILA

In line with the Team PNP “Kaagapay Ko” Tapat, May Tapang at Malasakit para sa Mamamayan program of the National Capital Region Police Office, the Acting Chief of the NCRPO a conducted its simultaneous  information drive on Coronavirus Awareness Response Empowerment (C.A.R.E) on December 15, 2020 at Brgy. 105, 128  Tondo, Manila and Baseco Compound, Manila

The CARE program was initiated by the Chief of the Philippine National Police, PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS which aims to instill DOH protocols and other necessary information to the community. Thereafter, lecture on crime situation of respective barangay concerned, crime prevention safety tips, lecture on illegal drugs and KKDAT/ ELCAC were also tackled to maximize information dissemination to the public.

Part and parcel of the activity is the distribution of health kits and food packs which was spearheaded by the Chief of the NCRPO, PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO Jr. He personally handed the food packs to the poorest of the poor in the identified depressed barangay under the jurisdiction of the Manila Police District under the leadership of PBGEN LEO FRANCISCO, District Director. A total of 400 participants received and benefited from the program.

 “Ito po ay mula sa pinagbuklod buklod na sweldo ng ating mga kapulisan upang makapamahagi ng pamasko sa ating mga kababayan. Pagdamutan ninyo po ang nakayanan ng Team NCRPO sapagkat napakarami pa ng pagbabahagian natin na nasa higit na dalawampung barangay. Sana ay makatulong ang mga dala namin, kahit na maliit, sa pang araw araw ninyong pangangailangan,” said PBGEN DANAO.

Meanwhile, MPD Fitness Team also spiced up the activity by rendering a dance number to entertain the participants amidst the current pandemic.
