NCRPO has been reaching out to communities and helping less fortunate families for the past months through NCRPO Serbisyong TAMA Caravan sa Barangay. And now that NCR along with other nearby provinces has been placed to Enhanced Community Quarantine, the National Capital Region Police Office under the direction of PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR. intensified its simultaneous distribution of food packs and health kits in different barangays in Metropolis.
Joint Teams from RCADD, DCADDs, CAS of RMFB & DMFB with Barangay Officials/Tanods/KKDATs joined forces in the distribution of food packs and health kits in Baseco, Manila; Payatas, QC; Calawaan, Pasig; Riles Taguig (near NCRPO); and Catmon, Malabon.
The team started early morning today, April 6, 2021 except for Taguig Team who distributed the assistance yesterday night, April 5, 2021 at around 8:00 PM.
The the 500 food packs and health kits from the Regional Headquarters was augmented by District Police Offices in the said areas. Poorest of the poor, PWDs, Senior Citizen and TODA members were the targeted beneficiaries.
“We understand your situation that’s why we are doing our very best to extend any possible help that we can give most especially during the reversion of enhanced community quarantine in Metropolis. I know it’s hard, but I want to ask everyone to be strong and have faith that we can survive this.” PMGEN DANAO said.
He added “huwag po kayong mawalan ng pag-asa. Ang Team NCRPO kasama ang mga taong may mabubuting loob ay hindi po magsasawang maghatid ng kaunting ayuda galing sa mga pinagbuklod buklod na sahod ng ating mga kapulisan para kayo po ay matulungan kahit na sa simpleng bagay lamang po na gaya nito.
He likewise stated that, Team NCRPO will conduct the said activity thrice a week in three identified areas per District with atleast 100 beneficiaries per area. Patuloy po kaming maglilingkod ng TAMA; TApat, may tapang at MAlasakit sa mamamayan.”###
