In line with the intensified campaign against most wanted persons, the National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO  commended Police Station – 3 Talipapa, Quezon City Police District for the successful service of warrant of arrest to Top 2 Most Wanted Person of Zamboanga Polanco MPS along Quirino Highway, Brgy. Talipapa, Quezon City at around 10:35 AM on May 24, 2021.

Police Station – 3 operatives under the supervision of PLT HARRY BASILLA and Warrant Operatives of Zamboanga Polanco MPS conducted a joint manhunt operation that resulted in the apprehension of the accused who was identified as Jowi Daymiel y Bulacan.

The arrested accused has a pending warrant of arrest for the crime of RAPE (12 counts) and LASCIVIOUS CONDUCT (2 counts) docketed under Criminal Case No. 23574-23587 issued by HON. ROGELIO D LAQUIHON Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City, dated January 3, 2020 with BAIL RECOMMENDED fixed ar Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (PHP 200,000.00) for Crim. Case No. 23574-23575 and NO BAIL RECOMMENDED for Crim. Case No. 23574-23587.

Subsequently, on the same day at around 9:40 AM along Katihan Rd., Brgy. Poblacion, Muntinlupa City, Police Station –  5 Muntinlupa, Southern Police District served the warrant of arrest to Top 8 Most Wanted Person of the station.

Operatives of PS – 5 led by PLT ROLANDO O TY and PEMS Julius Perez conducted a police operation against the accused who was identified as Junie Bello y Estadillo, who has a pending warrant of arrest issued at RTC Br. 256, Muntinlupa City for a case of Frustrated Murder and another Warrant of Arrest issued at MTC Br. 114 for Attempted Homicide.

In addition, at about about 2:00 PM DID, NPD under the supervision of PLTCOL ALLAN B UMIPIG with three (3) others served the warrant of arrest  against Julius Canda y Cleopas (Deceased) at Panghulo Road Bgy. Panghulo Malabon City for the Crime of MURDER with cc. no. 10-1244-MN issued by Hon. Judge ZALDY B. DOCENA of RTC Branch 170 Malabon City dated July 6, 2010.  Further, Canda was also tagged as the Number 3 Most Wanted Person of Malabon City Police Station.

However, through research and validation conducted by the IOS-DID, NPD it was discovered that the accused died on July 4, 2010 thru a motorcycle accident. This information was verified thru the statement his mother , Mrs. Lolita Cleopas, 54 y/o, housewife and a resident of Panghulo Road Bgy. Panghulo Malabon City and who presented a death certificate and relevant pictures to prove the demise of the subject wanted person. Moreover, the Warrant of Arrest will be returned to the issuing Court of Law.

Both of the arrested accused  Daymiel and Estabillo were apprised on their constitutional rights and were later turned-over to the respective police stations for proper disposition and documentation before returning their warrant of arrest to the court of origin.
