The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commended the successful buy-bust operation of the PS-2, Masambong, Quezon City Police District which led to the apprehension of Top 6 Drug Male Personality of their Station.

According to the initial investigation, at about 9:30PM of October 30, 2020, the operating team pushed through with the plotted  conduct of a Buy-Bust Operation at Brgy. Paltok Quezon City.

The suspect was identified as:

1.         Franklin Rodriguez y Alvarez alias BUKNOY, 37 years old residing at Brgy. Paltok Quezon City.

Investigation disclosed that operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with PDEA QC, conducted the operation wherein an undercover cop acted as poseur buyer and bought Php500.00 worth of shabu from the suspect and at the given pre-arranged signal, Rodriguez was arrested. According to records, he is also included in the Directorate for Intelligence (DI) drug watchlist.

Pieces of evidence confiscated from his possession and control were:

1. Nine (9) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substances, suspected to be Shabu, a dangerous drug with weight of more or less 10 grams with a DDB value amounting to Php 68,000;

2. One (1) piece of Five Hundred Peso Bill (Php 500.00) buy bust money; and

3. One (1) pc. Black Pouch.

The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of a Barangay Captain Edgardo Jr. A. Paragua of Brgy. Paltok Quezon City and a media representative Rene Joshua Abiad of Remate/NCRPO press club.

The arrested suspect and confiscated pieces evidence will be forwarded to QCPD Crime Laboratory Office for analysis and drug test to determine the presence of dangerous drugs.The above-mentioned suspect will be charged for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
