*SOUTHERN POLICE REACHED OUT A HAND TO BRGY 192 PASAY CITY IN A SERIES OF COMMUNITY OUTREACH ACTIVITY*

The National Capital Region Police Office believes that peace and order is a shared responsibility of the police and the community, thus, assures that police and the community are harmonious with one another in order to effectively carry out its mandate.

In line with this, Metro Top Cop, PMGEN Felipe R Natividad lauds the effort of the Southern Police District under the lead of PBGEN Jimili L Macaraeg, DD SPD to reach out to the residents of Barangay 192, Pasay City on May 27, 2022.

District Community Affairs and Development Division (DCADD) led by PLTCOL JENNY DC TECSON, AC, DCADD together with personnel of Pasay CPS under the supervision of PCOL CESAR G PADAY-OS, COP, Pasay CPS, Regional Mobile Force Battalion, NCRPO led by PCOL LAMBERT A SUERTE, FC, RMFB, Southern Police District Anti-Cyber Crime Group led by PMAJ FRANKLIN A LACANA, C, SPDAC spearheaded the conduct of Community Outreach Program through distribution of food packs, taho, bottled water, school shoes, IEC materials, free haircut, lectures on Project R.E.A.D.Y, Anti-Cybercrime Awareness, HIV/AIDS Awareness, and Livelihood Training Skills Program.

A total of 100 beneficiaries received food packs while 50 children were given school shoes.

The activity was attended by Hon. Chito G Decosto, Barangay Chairman of Barangay 192; Ka Lolit, former CTGFO member; Angeline Antonio of Pasay Social Hygiene Clinic; ROTC students of City University of Pasay; members of the Advocacy Support Groups; lecturers from DCADD, SPD and other personnel from DCADD, SPD DMFB, SPD and SCAS of Pasay CPS.

“It is high time that we intensify community partnership in order for our people to feel that we are to be trusted and we are more than willing to support them and work with them towards a safer and more progressive Metro Manila,” said PMGEN Natividad.###
