PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, Chief, NCRPO commended the District Drug Enforcement Unit, Northern Police District for the successful buy-bust operation in relation to NPD’s implementation of Simultaneous Enhanced Managing Police Operation (SEMPO) in Brgy. Malinta, Valenzuela City at around 11:20 PM of November 3, 2020.
The arrest ensued from a previous buy-bust operation earlier on the same date wherein the operatives were able to apprehend the number 1 in the NPD’s Top 10 Drug Personalities. The operatives confiscated illegal drugs weighing more or less 55 grams amounting to PHP374,000.00. Subsequently, through Intelligence operation, the operatives were able to locate the whereabouts of the suspect and conducted a follow-up buy-bust operation.
Moreover, case report showed that the arrested suspect was identified as the source of illegal drugs of the arrested Number 1 drug personality.
Investigation disclosed that the arrested suspect was identified as Anthony Lloyd Molina y Ramos alias “Carding”, 28 years old and residing in Brgy. Malinta, Valenzuela City.
Seized from suspect’s possession are the following pieces of evidence:
a) One (1) pc. knot tied transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu;
b) Eleven (11) pcs. medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu;
c) One (1) pc. dusted P1,000.00 bill incorporated with eleven (11) pcs. of boodle money utilized as Buy-bust money; and
d) One (1) pc. color white handbag.
The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Media Representative – Mr. James Agustin, GMA News and Brgy. Kgwad. Bernard De Guzman, Brgy Malinta, Valenzuela City.
The recovered illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 105 grams with a Standard Drug Price amounting to PHP 714,000.00.
The arrested suspect and recovered pieces of evidence were turned-over to DDEU-NPD office for proper disposition pending the filing of appropriate charges in court for violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11 Article II of RA 9165 or otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
