Metrocops serve as one of the vital front liners in this war against COVID – 19 and the National Capital Region Police Office under the leadership of Acting Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR extends his warmest gratitude to the benefactors who continuously give assistance to TEAM NCRPO.

The benefactors are Kuya ARNEL M. CERAFICA of Eagles Club Phil and Bro. OCHELLE GLEN G. VILLANUEVA of Tau Gamma Phil. They donated 5,000 pieces of face shield. It was received by PBGEN DANAO on December 4, 2020 at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The said donation will be distributed to the personnel who are deployed and performing their duties in the field. It will also be shared to the families and individuals who cannot afford to buy face shield.

PBGEN DANAO has been extending kindness and generosity to public who are in need during this difficult times alongside with the stakeholders who constantly supports TEAM NCRPO.

Sharing the same vision and mission of securing the safety of area of responsibility, Acting Regional Director POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL VICENTEDUPA DANAO JR presided the meeting with Security Managers and Officers of Shopping Center Management Corporation SM Supermalls – led by Mr Alamus Alabe, VP SCMC on December 3, 2020.

SERIAL RAPIST AND ROBBER IN CUBAO COLLARED IN PASAY

The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, Acting Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR lauds PS – 7 Cubao, Quezon City Police District under for the successful operation which resulted in the arrest of a serial rapist and robber in Malibay, Pasay City at around 3:40 AM of December 3, 2020.

Report from the Quezon City Police District under PBGEN DANILO MACERIN, District Director, the arrested suspect was identified as Marianito Sta Maria alias “Robertson Bautista” and “Jayson Mallari”, 27 years old, residing at JP Santos St., Malibay Pasay City.

The arrest was plotted after the victim who is a freelance therapist personally appeared in their station (PS 7- Cubao) and reported about the incident that happened on November 30, 2020 at Room 306 Yale Apartelle at Yale St., Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Cubao, Quezon City after the suspect and the victim agreed through social media for a two hour ventosa massage therapy.

Based on the victim’s testimony, upon meeting up at the location, the victim asked for the payment for her service but the suspect refused and stated that his money was inside his car that was being used by his cousin. After the massage session the victim demanded for the payment but the suspect kept on reasoning out.

Later on instead of handing the money, the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the victim. The suspect then ordered the victim to give him her money and cellphone. Subsequently, the suspect sexually abused the suspect.

This prompted the operatives to conduct a man-hunt operation against the suspect that resulted to his arrest. The suspect was brought to PS – 7 Cubao. Other victims of the suspect also appeared in the station and identified him as the same person who abused and raped them.

The suspect will be charged for Violation of Robbery with Rape before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.

He added “At sa mga kriminal na patuloy na gumagawa ng ganitong klaseng krimen tigilan na ninyo ang mga ganitong klase ng karahasan dahil hindi namin kayo titigilan hanggat hindi namin kayo nahuhuli at naikukulong.”

LAS PIÑAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT EXPRESSED ALL OUT SUPPORT TO NCRPO PLANS, PROGRAMS AND CAMPAIGNS FOR SAFER METRO

PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR., National Capital Region Police Office, Acting Regional Director paid courtesy call to Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar on December 3, 2020 at Las Piñas City Hall.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Las Piñas City is known for its relentless support to the National Capital Region Police Office in effectively and efficiently enforcing the law particularly in maintaining the peace and order in the City.

During the courtesy call, PBGEN DANAO laid out his programs and intensified campaign of the PNP leadership with the active support of the Las Piñas City Government in relation to “No Take Police Campaign on all forms of illegal activities towards peaceful a Metro Manila.

On the same event, PBGEN DANAO expressed his gratitude to Las Piñas City Mayor Aguilar for the turn over of three (3) E-Trikes. He guaranteed that the NCRPO will continue to take its part in securing and protecting the people.

Likewise, the additional mobility received by the NCRPO will beef up police presence within the streets of the City.

65 VIDEO KARERA/ FRUIT GAME MACHINES DESTROYED IN LAS PIÑAS CITY

The NCRPO Acting Regional Director, PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR led the destruction of sixty five (65) Video Karera/Fruit Game machines on December 3, 2020 following the directives of Chief, PNP, PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS to intensify campaign against all forms of illegal gambling.

During the activity, ARD DANAO was assisted by PBGEN EMMANUEL B PERALTA, DD, SPD, PCOL RODEL A PASTOR, COP, LPCPS, PLTCOL YAHYA B YUSUP, ACOPA, PMAJ JOSE A ANAZ, ACOPO and Hon. April Aguilar-Nery, City Vice Mayor, Las Piñas City. It was also witnessed by Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) NCR represented by Atty. Queenie Agnes Somera, Public Attorney III and Atty. Felicia Zelica Longcab, Deputy Chief, Prosecutor, Las Piñas City held in front of Las Piñas City Hall Compound, Las Piñas City.

The 65 Video Karera Machines were confiscated during the Intensified Drive on Illegal Gambling Operation conducted by the Las Piñas City Police Station under the leadership of PCOL RODEL A PASTOR as part of the continuous efforts to topple illegal gambling in the Southern Metro.

Furthermore, the drive is also in consonance with the implementation of the “No-Take Policy” on all forms of protection money from illegal sources to include illegal gambling activities, as directed by the Chief of PNP towards peaceful communities.

FEMALE SUSPECT OF THE VIRAL SLAIN NIÑO HERNANDO NABBED IN PAMPANGA; THREE OTHER SUSPECTS REMAIN UNDER HOT PURSUIT OPERATIONS

Acting Regional Director, PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR announced the apprehension of the female suspect involved in the Sensational Killing of Niño Hernando in Valenzuela City following the instruction from Philippine National Police Chief, Police General Debold M. Sinas to pursue all the suspects in the killing of Niño Hernando which circulated on social media on October 9, 2020.

Based from the report submitted ARD DANAO, the suspect was identified as Joe-Ann Cabatuan, 31, resident fo Martinez Homes, Ulingan West Lawang Bato, Valenzuela. She was nabbed at 5p.m., December 1,2020 along Brgy. Lourdes, Minalin, Pampanga. She was the 3rd suspect of the six (6) identified suspects in the ruthless killing of Hernando along Paso de Blas road Valenzuela City. Suspects Edgar Matis Batchar and former policeman PCpl Michael Bismar Castro earlier fell in the hands of the operatives.

Investigation disclosed that Valenzuela City Police Station operatives led by PLT DODDIE M AGUIRRE under the supervision of PCOL FERNANDO R ORTEGA, Chief of Police successfully served the Warrant of Arrest against the above-named person suspect for the crime of Robbery with Homicide under Art. 294 of RPC with crminal case number 1456-V-20 issued by Hon. SNOOKY MARIA ANA BARENO-SAGAYO, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 283 Valenzuela City issued on November 19, 2020 w/ NO BAIL recommended.

Cabatuan was informed of the cause of her arrest and was apprised of her constitutional rights in a language known and understood by her.

Records show that while Hernando was aboard his Blue Yamaha NMAX Motorcycle, two (2) male suspects on board colored green motorcycle suddenly approached him from behind, and repeatedly shot him that caused his instantaneous death. The suspects took the victim’s bag containing PHP442,714.00, personal belongings and his motorcycle then sped off towards Maysan Road, Valenzuela City.

Arrested suspect was immediately brought to Valenzuela General Hospital for medical examination and later brought to Valenzuela City Police Station custodial facility for proper disposition.

“I commend the Valenzuela Police, Special Investigation Task Group dubbed as “TG Niño Hernando” for the successful arrest of the suspect. Intensified hot pursuit operations and continuous follow-up investigation will continue all over the region and the country to capture the other suspects.” said PBGEN DANAO.

ARD Danao Prioritizes the Security of Metro Manila; New Police Explosives Reconnaissance Experts Graduate

In its unyielding quest to end potential threats posed by terrorisms, POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL VICENTE D DANAO JR graced the closing ceremony of Police Explosives Recconnaissance Course held on December 2, 2020 at Hinirang Multi­-purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa Bicutan, Taguig City.

The National Capital Region Police Office Police Explosives Reconnaissance Course is being conducted to enhance Police officers’ competency in the field of military explosive ordnance, detection, identification, explosive related incident investigation and target analysis, techniques and searching methods. A total of 46 participants were trained well on the assessment of threat in lives and properties of the people in Metro Manila.

PBGEN DANAO, during his speech, recalled his personal experiences during his stint in Davao City and how they were able to handle and resolve such untoward eventualities. He further encouraged them to continue their desire to secure the lives and properties of the people whom they pledged to serve and protect.

“You have a great role in preventing terrorists’ acts in the region and explosive detection through the acquired ability in properly handling risk situations.  Remain vigilant and always ready and remember that bigger responsibilities rest on your shoulders,” ARD DANAO said.

ARD – PBGEN DANAO CONDUCTS RANDOM INSPECTION AT THE NCRPO REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS

The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, Acting Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR conducted a random inspection, yesterday, December 2, 2020 at the NCRPO Regional Headquarters to check if the personnel are fulfilling their administrative duties and responsibilities. Despite the busy schedule he took time to visit every office and motivated them to continuously work hard.

PBGEN DANAO reminded all personnel that even if they are doing administrative works they must prepare themselves to be deployed if necessary. With regard to the attendance, he reiterated that all the personnel must be 100% accounted for and there should be no “lubog” or 15/30 attendance. 

Moreover, ARD talked to the personnel and encouraged them to follow the minimum health guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus. He also mentioned to keep the work area clean, sanitized and instructed to maintain cleanliness inside the camp.

As part of protocol, PBGEN DANAO reminded the policemen to follow “Tamang Bihis”. That the current pandemic situation is not an excuse to not dress-up accordingly.

“Ipagpatuloy ninyo ang maayos na pagtungon sa inyong mga tungkulin. Siguraduhin ninyong magagawa ito ng tama upang hindi tayo magkaroon ng problema sa pagbibigay serbisyo publiko. Huwag din nating kalilimutan na panatilihin ang kalinisan sa loob ng ating mga opisina at kampo upang maiwasan natin ang pagkalat ng sakit.” PBGEN DANAO said.

He added “At pinapaalala ko lang na kung sinumang commander na gumagawa pa din ng “lubog” at 15/30 ay tigilan na, kundi may kalalagyan kayo. Malaki na ang sahod natin kaya nararapat lang na gampanan nating mabuti ang ating trabaho.”

NCRPO GUARANTEES A SAFE AND PEACEFUL OBSERVANCE OF THE TRADITIONAL SIMBANG GABI IN THE METRO AMIDST THE PANDEMIC

In line with the invigorated measures to prioritize the health and welfare of the public, National Capital Region Police Office Acting Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR assured that more policemen will be deployed throughout Metro Manila during the traditional Simbang Gabi not only to guarantee the safety and protection of the public but also to ensure that health protocols such as social distancing, wearing facemask and face shields are strictly followed.

Following the guidelines on the restriction of persons allowed outside residence, PBGEN Danao, appealed to the young ones to avoid going out of their house this holiday season until there is no vaccine readily available against COVID-19. His appeal was brought about by the fact that 15 year old are allowed to go out of their residence as long as they are accompanied by an adult to attend various activities.

He mentioned also that all programs that has been set for NCRPO personnel by the previous Regional Director, PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, now the Chief, PNP will be continued.

The statement was made by PBGEN Danao in an interview when he attended the Turn-over of Office Ceremony at the Manila Police District on December 1, 2020.

TOP 6 MOST WANTED PERSON OF MUNTINLUPA ARRESTED IN PARAÑAQUE

The Acting Regional Director, NCRPO PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR commended the successful manhunt operation conducted by the elements of F2-Regional Mobile Force Battalion led by PCPT JOHN LLOYD BINWAG in close coordination with Parañaque City Police Station under the supervision of PCOL LAMBERT A SUERTE, Force Commander, RMFB-NCRPO which led to the arrest of Muntinlupa City’s Top 6 Most Wanted Person.

According to the initial report, the operation stemmed from an intelligence information followed by continuous operational research and week-long surveillance regarding the subjects’ whereabouts until he was successfully arrested.

Accused Lexter De Villa y Taroy a.k.a. “Teng”, construction worker, 26 years old born on July 9, 1994  and a resident of Sampaloc II Purok 7 Sucat, Parañaque City was tagged  the prime suspect in a stabbing incident involving his neighbor on August 7,2017. A crime of “Frustrated Murder” was filed against him docketed under criminal case No. 18-939 with a bail recommendation amounting to P200,000.00.

Relatedly, a warrant of arrest was issued by  Presiding Judge Hon. Antoinetta Pablo-Medina of Muntinlupa City RTC Branch 276 ordering for the immediate arrest of the accused.

Since, he has been hiding from the long arms of the law for three (3) years and three (3) months under the guise of a ‘construction worker’ in Sampaloc II Purok 7 Sucat, Parañaque City until he was arrested therein on November 30, 2020.

His successful arrest was a result of effective intelligence monitoring and surveillance uncovering his whereabouts until he was positively located and the warrant of arrest was duly served to him.
