U.P. Campus, Quezon City at around 2:30 PM of January 19, 2021.
The arrest ensued from a series of surveillance, casing and monitoring of the whereabouts and scheme of the suspects until they finally plotted an operation which resulted in the arrest.
Investigation disclosed that the arrested suspect was identified as Pany Omamalin, 29 years old, a resident of Brgy. U.P. Campus, Quezon City and who has a pending warrant of arrest for the crime of Theft issued by Hon. Kleto R Villacorte III, the Presiding Judge of Branch 106, Regional Trial Court (RTC) Quezon City docketed under Criminal Case No. 19-17407 with bail set at PHP 6,000.00.
The arrested suspect is presently under the custody of Crime Investigation Section, QCPD for proper disposition before returning to the court of origin.

NCRPO Acting Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR commended the responding mobile patrollers of Paranaque City Police Station for their swift response in robbery hold up incident that transpired along Palanyag Rd., Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City on December 29, 2020 that resulted in the immediate arrest of the suspect, identified as John-John Paracueles Grona aka Jhon Diablo.
According to the report that reached the Regional Headquarters, the victim was on board a passenger jeep traversing along Palanyag St. cor. Tramo Dos, Paranaque City. When suddenly, the jeep stopped due to traffic congestion. Thereafter, Jhon Diablo appeared, pointed a gun into the victim’s face, declared hold-up and took his bag containing one (1)unit Samsung Galaxy A7 color gold worth Php 20,000; ATM Cards and Credit Cards and escaped by foot towards Tramo Dos.
Immediately after the incident, the victim chased after the suspect and by chance, a police mobile passed on the said location. Wasting no time, the victim approached the police officers and reported the incident who in turned chased the suspect. On the process, the suspect fired his gun twice towards the police officers who took cover behind the wall. Sensing imminent danger for their lives, they fired back hitting the suspect’s left arm, hence his arrest.
Seized pieces of evidence from the suspect’s possession such as (1) one unit Caliber 32 WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER pistol with (1) one magazine loaded with (5) five live ammunitions were brought to the police station for proper disposition. Meanwhile, suspect was immediately brought to the Ospital ng Paranaque for treatment.

Acting Regional Director, PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO lauded the operatives of the different Police Districts of NCRPO for the successful arrest of Top 1, Top 2, 4, and 9 wanted persons in Malabon, Cavite, Caloocan and Pasay City in a single day.
In Malabon City, joint operation of Station Intelligence Section, and Warrant and Subpoena Section conducted police operation against Angelito Quintana y Dulay, Top 1 Most Wanted Person of their station. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder issued at RTC, Br. 74, Malabon City.
Another accused for the crime of Frustrated Murder and Murder was apprehended by Navotas City Police Station at about 8:05 am of December 29, 2020 along Blk 12 Phase 2A, Brgy. Aguado, Trece Martires, Cavite.
The accused identified as Rodolfo Subucojan whose real name is Rodolfo O Sabucojan @ Rudy was tagged as the Top 2 Most Wanted Person of their station.
Operation stemmed from several weeks of intensive surveillance and intelligence operations of Navotas Police through Manhunt Bravo. Suspect Rudy had been long wanted by law and was arrested by virtue of the Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. CARLOS M FLORES of Malabon City RTC Branch 73 for the crime charged of Frustrated Murder and Murder in Criminal Case No. 37073-37074-MN.
Similarly, the Top 4 Most Wanted Person of Caloocan City Police Station fell in the hands of operatives at Camia St., Brgy. 185, Tala, Caloocan City.
Suspect, Bernabe Serrano y Viscara alias Bernardo Terano is the Rank no. 4 Most Wanted Person in Caloocan City Police Station.
Records show that elements of Intelligence Section conducted manhunt operation and arrested Serrano by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for six (6) Counts of Rape issued at RTC Br. 1, Caloocan City.
Meanwhile, a Simultaneous Enhanced Managing Police Operations was conducted by the elements of Pasay City Police Station together with District Intelligence Division which resulted in the apprehension of Rank No. 9 Wanted Person of Southern Police District.
Suspect John Paul C Lara @ Jon-Jon Monyong was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest was issued at RTC Br. 10, (181) of Manila.
The accused were informed of the nature and cause of their arrest and appraised of their constitutional rights in a language known and understood by them. They are now detained pending the issuance of commitment order before returning to the court of origin.

Team NCRPO has been consistent in sharing their blessings to underpriviledged families which started on December 15, 2020 alongside the information dissemination of Coronavirus Awareness Response Empowerment, lecture on crime situation, prevention, illegal drugs and KKDAT/ ELCAC.

National Capital Region Police Office Chief, PBGEN Vicente D Danao Jr commends the successful buy-bust operations on December 23-24, 2020 of the Stations Drug Enforcement Units of Team NCRPO, particularly the Caloocan City Police Station, Taguig City Police Station, 4 Police Stations from the Quezon City Police District specifically Novaliches, Masambong, Fairview and Pasong Putik. The operations were conducted in coordination with the agents of PDEA-RONCR.
In Caloocan City, at about 3:00AM on December 24, 2020, suspect Uriel Hewe Jr.y Omac also known as “Bong”, a watch-listed, 31 years old, married, Grab Driver was arrested in Amparo Subdivision Barangay 179, Caloocan City.
Seized from the possession of the suspect are the following: one (1) pc of knot tied transparent ice plastic bag containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; five (5) pcs of large vacuum sealed tranparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; three (3) pcs of foil wrapper chinese tea bag label with guanyinwang; (1) pcs. of trolly travelling bag color gray with brand label voyager; two (2) ATM card BDO color blue and yellow; one (1) digital weighing scale color gray; one (1) unit Cal. .45 ARMSCOR pistol with serial no. 1264262; one (1) unit magazine of cal. 45 pistol; four (4) pieces live ammunition of cal. .45; one (1) pc of Android Phone (HUAWEI)color blue:and,recovered money amounting to Php 10,150.00 in different denomination and the buy-bust money.
The confiscated drugs eveidence has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 5 kilograms with DDB standard value of PHP 34,680.000.00. On-site marking and inventory on the recovered evidences was conducted with the presence of Kagawad Gilbert Galveno of Barangay 179 and Mr Ismael Santos, a media representative.
The arrested suspect is currently detained at Caloocan City Detention Facility for proper disposition and pending filing of appropriate charges in court for violation of Sec 5,6 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 or otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Recovered pieces of evidence were turned over to the Northern Police District Crime Laboratory Office for chemical analysis. Meanwhile, as of press time, investigators are on the process of confirming the legality of the firearms confiscated.
Another drug sting was hatched in Taguig City that resulted in the arrest of three (3) male notorious drugs suspects at Candaza St., Brgy Tuktukan Taguig City on Decmber 23, 2020 at about 10:45 PM
Suspects were identified as Richard Salazar y Buenaventura aka “Richard” 41 y/o, single, male, volunteer malasakit, Jayson de Guzman y Villanueva “Jake” 33 y/o, single, jobless, and Danton Rey Garcia y Sablayan aka “Boy”, 30 y/o, single, jobless, all residents of the above mentioned address.
Recovered during the operation are the following pieces of evidence are: eight (8) pcs of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with a total weight of more or less 50.5 grams worth of Php 343,400.00 SDP value;one (1) pc pouch color black; one (1) pc digital weighing scale; one (1) unit Cellular phone color black star mobile brand; two (2) pcs of One Hundred Peso bill with dusted powder from SPD Crime Laboratory utilized as buy bust money, and twenty-four (24) pcs of One-Thousand-Peso bill utilized as boodle money.
The inventory and markings of seized evidence was witnessed by Kagawad John Carlo de Guzman of Brgy Tuktukan Taguig City and media representative of Leaders News Philippines, Mr Nolan Ariola.
Recovered suspected shabu were brought to SPD Crime Laboratory Office for chemical analysis. While criminal complaint for Violation of Sec. 5 and 11 of Art. II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) will be referred at Prosecutor’s Office against the arrested suspects.
Meanwhile, a successful buy-bust operation was conducted by the SDEU operatives from four(4) Police Stations of the Quezon City Police District that resulted in the arrest of four (4) suspects and yielded more or less PHP388K worth of suspected shabu.
In Novaliches Police Station, the arrested suspect during a drug sting was identified as Lasib Marco Cabalo, 29 y/o and a resident of Brgy. 171, Caloocan City.
Through intelligence gathering and surveillance operation regarding the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspect and confirmation of the report, the suspect was arrested at about 8:300PM on December 23, 2020 at Nitang Ave. corner Quirino Hi-way located at Brgy. Gulod, Novaliches.
An undercover cop posed as poseur buyer and bought Php8,500.00 worth of shabu from the suspect. Aside from the buy-bust money, fifty (50) grams of shabu valued at Php340,000.00, a cellular phone used in the drug transaction and cash amounting to Php40.00 was recovered.
Meanwhile, during a buy-bust operation, SDEU operatives of Masambong Police Station successfully arrested Edward Apo alias Bodek, 40 y/o, of Brgy. Pasong Tamo at about 1:10 AM on December 24, 2020 in front of #324 Sitio Bacood, Brgy. Tasong Tamo. Confiscated were five (5) grams of shabu valued at Php34,000.00 and the buy-bust money.
Likewise, in another drug sting, SDEU operatives of Fairview Police Station arrested a suspect identified as Aj Maputol alias Brod, 25 y/o, of San Jose Del Monte Bulacan at about 9:00PM on December 23, 2020 along Fairlane St. Brgy. Greater Fairview. Pieces of evidence confiscated were 1.1 grams of shabu valued at Php7,480.00, the buy-bust money and a cellular phone.
Also, SDEU operatives of Pasong Putik Proper Police Station (PS-16) conducted buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of Ariel Yaras alias Bangis, 27 y/o, of San Jose Del Monte Bulacan at about 5:25 PM on December 23, 2020 along Mindanao Ave Extension, Brgy. Greater Lagro. Pieces of evidence confiscated were one (1) gram of shabu valued at Php6,800.00, the buy-bust money and a cellular phone.
The suspects will be charged with Violation of R.A. 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

By virtue of Warrant of Arrest, the arrested suspect was identified as ROYMART BUSANO y LIWAG a.k.a ROY a.k.a EMAR, 28yrs old, male, single and residing at #2648 Maingat St., cor Malakas CAA, Las Piñas City.
Joint Operation of elements of Warrant and Subpoena Section led by PEMS Jay Joseph de Guzman with twelve (12) others and elements of Station Intelligence Section led by PCPT BOBBE S IMBO together with two (2) others under the supervision of PCOL RODEL A PASTOR, COP, together with PMAJ JOSE A ANAZ, ACOPO, Las Piñas City Police Station arrested the above named accused at the above mentioned address who has a pending Warrant of Arrest for RAPE under Article 266-A Par 1 of RPC as amended, docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 2020-1083 issued by Hon Judge BELEN G SALESPARA-CARASIG of REGIONAL TRIAL COURT Branch 195, Parañaque City, dated, September 21,2020 with NO BAIL RECOMMENDED

National Capital Region Police Office Chief, PBGEN Vicente D Danao Jr, commends the successful Joint Buy-Bust Operation of Station District Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEUs) of PS 11- Galas Station, Quezon City Police District and Makati City Police Station that resulted in the Arrest of four (4) persons for violation of Secs. 5 and 11 in relation to Art II, RA 9165 on December 21, 2020 at about 6:00PM at Tanay St., Barangay Valenzuela, Makati City.
In a report forwarded to PBGEN Danao, suspects were identified as: Nino Cordoviz y Pedrido, and Godofredo Colarina Jr y Merabona, both were identified as High Value Individual, and two other suspects are Chris John Roy Gozo y Alcopra and Ma. Cristina Guinto y Masagpag. Investigation disclosed that Cordoviz and Calorina were arrested during the drug sting while Gozo and Guinto were caught in the act while purchasing suspected shabu from the former suspects.
Further investigation disclosed that the operation ensued from the information provided by a regular confidential informant. Upon verification on the veracity of the report, SDEU of PS 11- Galas Station coordinated with the SDEU of Makati City Police Station and plotted a buy-operation that led to the successful arrest of the suspects and seizure of evidences.
Seized from the suspect’s possession are the following pieces of evidence:
Two (2) pcs of plastic ice bag knot tied of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of more or less one hundred (100) grams with DDB street value of Php 680,000
Seven (7) medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of more or less twenty (20) grams with DDB street value of Php 136,000
One thousand genuine peso bill used as buy bust money- Php 1,000 with serial number AB075782
One (1) buddle of boodle fake one thousand peso bill used as buy bust money
One (1) black weighing scale,
One (1) unused transparent plastic sachet,
One (1) stainless scissor,
One (1) white disposable lighter,
One (1) black sling bag; and,
One (1) unit Samsung cellphone.
The marking and inventory of the recovered pieces of evidence was witnessed by Barangay Kagawad Roberto A Javier, Barangay Valenzuela, Makati City and media representative Mr Jimmy Mendoza.
The seized suspected illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 120 grams with Standard Drug price amounting to PHP816, 000.00. It was turned over to the QCPD Crime Laboratory for confirmatory testing while suspects are currently detained at PS 11 Custodial Facility for investigation, proper documentation and disposition. Subsequently, suspects will be referred to Makati City prosecutor’s office for inquest proceedings relative to filling of charges for violation of Sec 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Sec 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) under Art II of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Moreover, lecture on crime situation of respective barangay concerned, crime prevention safety tips, lecture on illegal drugs and KKDAT/ ELCAC were also tackled to maximize information dissemination to the public. Likewise, distributed Good News publication.
As one of the highlights, ARD DANAO personally distributed health packs and food packs to all the participants. “Ito po ay pinagsama samang tulong mula sa mga miyembro ng Team NCRPO na inilaan namin upang kahit papaano ay makatulong sa inyong pangngailangan,” said PBGEN DANAO.

The National Capital Region Police Office invigorated its war against illegal drugs in the region which led to the apprehension of drug suspects in Northern Metro and Taguig City on December 10, 2020.
Acting Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR lauds the dynamic operatives of Northern Police District under the able leadership of PBGEN ELISEO DC CRUZ, District Director for the seizure of shabu worth more than 10 million in Valenzuela; more than 700 thousand in Taguig City; and 523 thousand in Caloocan City.
Reports showed that Valenzuela Police Station conducted buy bust operation at No.4039 F.Bautista St.,Bgy Ugong, Valenzuela City at about 10:30pm of December 10, 2020.
Arrested suspects are Ernesto Francisco y Magalang, married, 49 years old and Genelyn Mararac y Dela Torre, 33 years old, single; both residing at F. Bautista St., Ugong, Valenzuela City.
Upon arrest, operatives seized the following evidence:
1) One (1) pc knot tied ice bag containing suspected shabu, m/l 25 grams;
2) one (1) vacuum packed containing suspected shabu, m/l 1kg;
3) ninety-one (91) pcs heat sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu, m/ l 441 grams;
4) one pc genuine PHP1000 bill incorporated with 34 pcs PHP1000 bill boodle money;
5) recovered cash money amounting to Php15, 000.00
6) one unit digital weighing scale
7) 3 unit cellular phone
8) 3 pieces wrist watch
9) 1 pair of gold earings
10) 2 pcs gold necklace with pendant
Seized items believed to be shabu with estimated weight of more or less 1.5 kilos with Standard Drug Price (SDP) value of Php 10, 200, 000.
In an earlier operation, Malabon City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a Buy bust operation in coordination with SPD Taguig Drug Enforcement Agency at about 8:00 pm of December 10, 2020 along Kalayaan St., Brgy. Ususan, Taguig City.
Suspects were identified as 1. Rosalyn Dionisio y Abesia (Pusher), 2. Mark Dennis Andal y Catuday (Pusher), 3. Jonnel Pesigan y Carzon (User), 4. Ferdinand Rioveros y Romero (User), 5. Ron Paulo Dizon y Rosario (User)
Recovered from their possession and control were; (8) eight pcs. of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu weighing more or less 105.49 grams with street value amounting to Php 717,332 and Php 1000 Buy-bust money.
Another suspect was arrested during a follow-up operation conducted by the District Drug Enforcement Unit – NPD at 3rd Ave. East corner Josefina St., Brgy. 120, Zone 10, District ll, Caloocan City at about at about 9:10PM of the same day.
Suspect Allan Raymond Fernadez, alias “Totoy”, 18yrs old, single, jobless, resident of Brgy. 118, Caloocan City was previously arrested last April 27, 2019 for violation of R.A. 9165 and released on March 23, 2020 through ROR by DSWD Caloocan City.
The operation stemmed from a prior buybust operation wherein 65 grams of shabu worth P442,000.00 were confiscated. Through the information from the arrested suspects, intelligence driven operation was initiated against Totoy.
Pieces of evidences seized from his possession and control were as follows, to wit;
b. Three (3) pcs. medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu;
c. One (1) pc. dusted genuine P1,000.00 bill incorporated with six (6) pcs. P1,000.00 boodle money; and
d. One (1) unit of REALME cellular phone color black.
Estimated total weight of confiscated Shabu were more or less 77 grams with standard drug prize amounting to P523,600. Suspect will be brought at DDEU-NPD office for proper disposition, pending filing appropriate charges in court.
Meanwhile, in Taguig City, a buy-bust operation was also conducted by Taguig City Police Station under PCOL CELSO M RODRIQUEZ, Chief of Police in coordination with PDEA RO-NCR at about 8:30 pm at #124 So. Bayani, Brgy. Western Bicutan, Taguig City that resulted in the seizure of shabu worth Php462,400.
Suspects were identified as: Ernesto Lacandula y Rea alias Erning; EvelynVelasco y Aquino; Lito Marca y Serrano; Felly Bolaños y Bo; Ronald Lacueda y Rabino; Jonny Maldo y Morales; G. Jomar Prado y Danoog; Benzon Acorda y Saulo.
Recovered pieces. of evidence were (14) fourteen pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing White crystalline suspected to be Shabu with a total weight of more or less 68 grams worth of Php462,400; One pc. coin purse; Two pcs. cellular phones; Two pcs. Php100 bill as Buy bust money and Ninety pcs. Php1000 as boodle money.
All suspected shabu were turned over to Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
Complaints for violation of RA9165 will be filed against all arrested suspects.

The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, Acting Regional Director, PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR commends the Regional Intelligence Unit – NCR and District Special Operation Unit – Northern Police District for the successful arrest of No. 1 Provincial Top Most Wanted Person of Laguna PPO in relation to NPD’s implementation of Simultaneous Enhanced Managing Police Operation (SEMPO).
Based on the initial investigation submitted by DSOU – NPD the arrest took place at Block 13, Lot 16, Phase 1, Heroes Ville 1, Brgy. Gaya-Gaya, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan at around 9:00 PM of December 8, 2020. The arrested suspect was identified as Marlon Suarez y Galicia, 40 years old, construction worker.
The arrest ensued after a joint operation of DSOU – NPD, DID, NPD; RIU-NCR, IG; RID, NCRPO; Provincial Highway Patrol Team- Bulacan, Biñan-CPS and PIU-Laguna PPO conducted police operation against the said accused who was listed as Number 1 Provincial Top Most Wanted Person of Laguna PPO and a member of POGI SISON GROUP primarily engaged in Robbery, Gun for Hire, Carnapping and Illegal Drug Trade.
Moreover, information disclosed that the group is operating in the area of Laguna Province, CALABARZON, NCR and Province of Bulacan.
The arrested suspect has a pending warrant of arrest for the crime of MURDER (6 Counts) issued by Hon. JAIME E. BANATIN, Presiding Judge, RTC Br. 152, Biñan City, Laguna and was docketed under Criminal Case Numbers 699-B-2019; 700-B-2019; 701-B-2019; 702-B-2019 and 703-B-2019, dated June 25, 2020, and RTC Br. 24, Biñan City, Laguna issued by Hon. EFREN G SANTOS, Assisting Judge, docketed under Criminal Case No. 31503-B dated July 24, 2015 with NO BAIL recommended for every cases.
The above-mentioned suspect is temporarily detained at NPD Custodial Facility pending the issuance of commitment order before returning to the court of origin.
