In line with the directives of our Regional Director PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR to arrest Wanted Persons hiding from the law, the Regional Special Operations Group -NCRPO successfully arrested the Number 1 Most Wanted Person, District Level of Northern Police District on April 19, 2021 at about 1:44 pm at Brgy Alapan II- B, Imus City, Cavite
Records show that the accused was identified as Jerome C Pascua @ Randy Pascua @Kupal, 31 years old, single, shop manager at Morton Enterprise and residing at Alapan II-B, Imus City, Cavite.
Probe reveals that operatives of RSOG NCRPO together with elements of District Special Operations Unit of NPD and Caloocan City Police Station arrested Pascua by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated February 14, 2019 issued Hon Judge MA ROWENA VIOLAGO ALEJANDRIA, RTC Branch 121, Caloocan City in relation to Criminal Case No C-107178 for the crime of Murder; and Warrant of Arrest dated November 15, 2018 issued by Hon Judge GLENDA K CABELLO-MARIN, RTC Branch 124, Caloocan City in relation to Criminal Case No C-105850 for violation of Sec. 5(b) RA 7610.
Arrested person was informed about the nature of his arrest and apprised of his constitutional rights and Anti Torture warning.
Pascua is now under the custody of Regional Special Operations Group (RSOG) Custodial Facility pending the issuance of commitment order.
PMGEN DANAO acknowledged the successful manhunt operation led by RSOG. According to him, more coordination will be hatched by the NCRPO operating units to continue gaining more grounds.
“The NCRPO exerts double efforts to serve more warrants and apprehend more accused persons hiding not only in the Metro but all over the Philippines. Accused shall face the consequences of their crime and answer the charges filed against them in the courts of law .” Said PMGEN Danao.###
