NCRPO Acting Regional Director PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR commended the responding mobile patrollers of Paranaque City Police Station for their swift response in robbery hold up  incident that transpired along Palanyag Rd., Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City on December 29, 2020 that resulted in  the immediate arrest of the suspect, identified as John-John Paracueles Grona aka Jhon Diablo.

According to the report that reached the Regional Headquarters, the  victim  was on board a passenger jeep  traversing along Palanyag St. cor. Tramo Dos, Paranaque City.  When suddenly, the jeep stopped due to traffic congestion. Thereafter,  Jhon Diablo appeared, pointed a gun into the victim’s face, declared hold-up and took his bag containing one (1)unit Samsung Galaxy A7 color gold worth Php 20,000; ATM Cards and Credit Cards and escaped by foot towards Tramo Dos. 

Immediately after the incident, the victim chased after the suspect and by chance, a police mobile passed on the said location.  Wasting no time, the victim approached the police officers and reported the incident who in turned  chased the suspect.  On the process, the suspect fired his gun twice towards  the police officers  who took cover behind the wall. Sensing imminent danger for their lives, they fired back hitting the suspect’s left arm, hence his arrest. 

Seized  pieces of evidence from the suspect’s possession such as  (1) one unit Caliber 32 WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER pistol with (1) one magazine loaded with (5) five live ammunitions were brought to the police station for proper disposition. Meanwhile, suspect was immediately brought  to the Ospital ng Paranaque for treatment.

Ang ating mga kababayan ay makakaasa na ang Team NCRPO ay handang maghatid ng serbisyo at tumulong anumang oras at pagkakataon, ani ni  PBGEN DANAO”.
