Every Christmas, we are reminded of the old proverb “It is better to give than to receive.” PBGEN Vicente D Danao Jr. Acting Regional Director, National Capital Region Police Office and his team from the Manila’s Finest and personnel from the Regional Community Affairs Development Division, NCRPO reached out to Three Hundred (300) rescued street children and seventy (70) families in Manila City through Gift Giving and Feeding Program of Team NCRPO “Kaagapay Ko” Tapat, May Tapang at Malasakit para sa Mamamayan at the Luneta Open Auditorium, Rizal Park, Ermita Manila on December 24, 2020
Regardless of the current health crisis the country is facing, Team NCRPO continuous to implement programs that aims to aid people affected by the corona virus and the recent storms that struck the country. Likewise,Team NCRPO finds ways to give and share its blessings especially to children. Given this Yuletide season, Team NCRPO wishes to make this season a little brighter and merrier for these street children, hence, a magic show was performed by Nicko’s clown aside from the dance move that Team NCRPO Dance Troupe and MPD Dance Troupe have showcased.
“Narito kmi ngayon para mamahagi sa inyo ang ng konting pagkain at pinansyal na tulong para sa inyo, alam kong ito ay hindi sapat pero sana ay makatulong ito sa inyo. Ito po ang paraan ng inyong abang lingkod na maibahagi kahit konti yung ating natatanggap na biyaya. This is our way of celebrating christmas lalong-lalo na ngayong panahon ng pandemya.” PBGEN Danao stated. ###
