spearheaded the NCRPO Regional Advisory Council Meeting (RAC) on January 20, 2021 at Meridian Dragon Plaza, Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City.

Through the years RAC has been supporting NCRPO and has never falter regardless of the changes of leadership towards the realization of the PNP PATROL PLAN 2030 through the adaptation of Performance Governance System (PGS).

Among the topics discussed were: Crime Situation, Plans and Programs, and Operational Accomplishments of NCRPO; Continuing Efforts to Address the Pandemic; and the RAC Plans for CY- 2021.

Currently, the NCRPO is intensively implementing different programs and campaigns against criminality and illegal drugs following the processes and standards of the PGS to further improve the quality of performance in policing.

During his speech, PMGEN DANAO emphasized that under his supervision, he is maximizing police presence within the streets of metro manila. Such presence will not only promote swift response to any criminality but will also prevent would be criminals when necessary.

“We must work in advanced and two steps ahead of these criminals in order for us to supress the crimes. Having the pandemic, it does not mean we cannot arrest criminals. It does not mean we cannot halt illegal drugs, and it doesnt mean we cannot go against any criminal activities. We have to double our efforts in law enforcement,” he said.

He also lamented the importance of reaching out to community whose role in peace keeping is equally significant. In NCRPO, Serbisyong Tama, Tapat, may tapang at Malasakit sa Mamamayan Program” has been rolling all over Metro Manila wherein men in blue are sharing their blessings through gift giving to identified depressed communities . He also assured that community service in the region will be strengthened through other upcoming programs being prepared by the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD).

“Amidst the hard time, trying times we have especially with the problem on pandemic, it didn’t stop us, it didn’t pull us down, but instead it became a challenge for all of us to really give our best in crime solution and crime prevention,” he added.

Lastly, PMGEN DANAO guaranteed the Regional Advisory Council his full support to all its endeavors towards a peaceful Metro Manila. “Be as it may, rest assured that I will be behind your back especially in collaboration with our business sector. Asahan po ninyo na ang ating kapulisan ay laging naririto, 24/7. Magsesrbisyong Tama, Tapat may tapang at Malasakit para sa buong sambayanang Pilipino,” he concluded.###
