RD DANAO LEADS THE TURN OVER OF SIBOL PROJECT, CASCADING OF SIBOL COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AND MEETING OF COOPTED CTGFO LEADERS

NCRPO- PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr., expressed his gratitude  to all benevolent stakeholders during the Turn over of SIBOL Project, Cascading of SIBOL Community Programs to the Newly Organized SIBOL ng Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran of NCR Officers composed of Leaders/Presidents of coopted former KADAMAY, GABRIELA, PLM, KMU and ANAKPAWIS leaders of QC and CAMANAVA  on November 16, 2021 held at the NCRPO Hinirang Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

Also present during the program were Ms. Morena Canizares, Rotary Club of Makati-Poblacion; Ms Marlina Castillo, President, Rotary Club of Makati Ayala Amity; Mr Mark Lester Lico, RC Makati Ayala Amity; Mr.  Joseph Baltazar  C Madrigal, President, Rotary Club of Paranaque-Pobalcion; Ms Elvin Almazar, Head CEST Program, DOST-NCR; and Mr. Marceno S Dormiento, External Relations Manager, San Miguel Food Corporation Inc and Company.

The turned-over donations consist of cash sponsorship  by the Rotary Club  for the  construction of  Well of Life Project (deep well) for Sitio Bakal, Brgy Bagong Silangan Quezon City; 10 wheelchairs;  and a newly built house for a poor family in Muntinlupa constructed by RMFB.

Likewise, following the seminar conducted by DOST NCR on their Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology (CEST) Program and San Miguel Food Corporation’s Community Reseller Program (SMFC CRP) which is now a component of NCRPO SIBOL, RD DANAO also provided Php 2,000.00 each (Php 60,000.00) as initial capital of the SMFC CRP and foodpacks for the 30 former CTGFO Leaders.

In his message, RD Danao thanked the concerted effort of benevolent stakeholders, members of Rotary Club Makati, and San Miguel Corporation who supported Team NCRPO’s endeavor to reach out to severely affected families and communities since the start of the pandemic. “ Marami po sa ating mga kababayan ang nagbibigay ng donasyon sa amin at kami po ay taos-pusong nagpapasalamat at makaka-asa po kayo na makakarating ang mga binibigay ninyo sa mga kinauukulan. It is the act of giving that counts most, through it, more blessings po ang dumarating.”

RD Danao also extended his gratitude to concerned government agencies who shared their talents and contributed to the success of the projects under the NCRPO SIBOL Program. “Hindi ko maexpress ang aking pasasalamat. Sana po ay huwag kayong magsawa sa tulong na ipinamimigay natin sa ating mga nangangailangang mga kababayan. To Team NCRPO, JTF-NCR these projects would not be possible without the effort of each and everyone of us.” He ended.###
