RD DANAO ADMINISTERS THE OATH TAKING OF 890 POLICE RECRUITS AND 54 NON-UNIFORMED PERSONNEL

“When you enter the institution or the training centers, focus on your training. Wala kayong ibang gagawin kung hindi matuto, mag-aral at magplakas ng inyong katawan. You need to focus on your training so your minds won’t be idle, to avoid of thinking of evil ideas. PMGEN Vicente D Danao stated in his message after administering the Joint Oath Taking and Turnover Ceremony of 890 Patrolman/Patrolwomen for calendar year 2021 Attrition and Regular Recruitment Program with the 29 Newly-Promoted and 25 Newly appointed Non-Uniformed Personnel.

The Joint ceremony was held on November 8, 2021 at the NCRPO Grandstand, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City. Thereafter, the chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division, PCOL Wilson Asueta turned over the recruits to PCOL Rex Arvin T Malimban, Chief Regional Learning Doctrine and Development Division but they were eventually turned over to PCOL Roman Dela Cruz Jr., Chief National Capital Region Training Center (NCRTC).

Also present during the activity were PBGEN Benjamin C Acorda, DRDA and Chairman for the Recruitment and Promotions Board; other members of the NCRPO Command Group; Atty Rey F Delgado, NAPOLCOM Representative and Vice Chairman for Recruitment; Ms Abigayle C Baligod, DILG Representative; Mr Fernando Soriano, City Administrator Paranaque City- RPOC Representative; Ms Ferlinda Bote, Alumni Affairs Office, Taguig City University while other members of the Recruitment and Screening committee joined the activity via Zoom.

The 890 new recruits will be divided and be brought to two training sites particularly in Lucena and Tayabas where they will undergo the six-month basic training or the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) which is designed to provide the police recruits with the basic knowledge and skills in police service, administration, combat operations and tactics.

Afterwhich, they will undergo another six months of compulsory training, the Public Safety Field Training Program one of the requirements for their permanency status as they will put into practice all the knowledge that they have gained from their PSBRC training at the NCRTC.

PMGEN Danao extended his commendation to the newly-appointed and newly- promoted NUP. “You have been our long treasured partners in achieving and fulfilling the mission and vision of the PNP organization.”

Further in his message, PMGEN Danao advised the recruits to know how to manage their time and resources especially their salary. He also encourage the police recruits to be part of his advocacy.” I would like to encourage and enjoin everyone to please join me in our advocacy of a true ERA of change. Ito ang aming minimithing pagbabago ng ating organisasyon. Hindi namin ito kakayanin kung hindi kayo makikipagtulungan. Let us strictly impose self discipline and when I say discipline, you should always be an Example to others and as trainees, be Responsible and Accountable in all your actions.###
