As peacekeepers it is the sole responsibility of the Philippine National Police to promote peace, order and safety in the community. As a counterpart, the National Capital Region Police Office under the leadership of PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR. spearheaded the Closing Ceremony of Patrolling and Response Operations Training to Empower CVOs and Tanods (P.R.O.T.E.C.T) Program on July 9, 2021 at Brgy. Talon Singko, Covered Court, Las Pinas City.
PMGEN DANAO was accompanied by other NCRPO Officers to include: PBGEN JIMILI LOPEZ MACARAEG, DD, SPD; PCOL REX ARVIN T MALIMBANN; Chief, RLDDD; PCOL GERSON S BISAYAS, Chief, DCADD together with Barangay Chairwoman of Las Pinas City HON JOSEFINA B BUMANLAG.
The PROTECT aims to strengthen the capabilities of NCRPO’s force multipliers so that the response to any untoward incidents would be swifter. The training was participated by 78 tanods and Civilian Volunteer Organizations from Brgy. Talon Singko.
PMGEN DANAO JR was elated with the support shown by the local government and the community towards the NCRPO’s endeavor.
“Always remember that crime prevention is everybody’s duty.
