NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the successful anti-illegal drugs operation of PS-6 Batasan, Quezon City Police District which yielded a total of Php 1,135,600.00 worth of illegal drugs.

The buy bust operation stemmed from a report from a confidential informant regarding the illegal activities of the suspects.

Consequently, a series of surveillance, monitoring and intelligence gathering was initiated until a buy-bust operation was plotted by the personnel of PS-6, QCPD Stations Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with Rodriguez Municipal Police Station and PDEA at Block 14, Lot 95, PH.1B, Sub Urban, San Jose, Rodrigues, Rizal at about 10:00 pm of July 5, 2020.

Arrested suspects were identified as:

  1. Johailey Dipatuan y Acmad, 31 yrs old, (Nov. 22, 1989), male, single, Business man, native of Lanao Del Sur, presently residing at Block 14, Lot 95, PH.1B, Sub Urban, San Jose, Rodrigues, Rizal.
  2. Mho Acmad y Dipatuan, 20 yrs old (March 6, 1999), male, married, jobless, native of Marawi City, presently residing at Block 14, Lot 95, PH.1B, Sub Urban, San Jose, Rodrigues, Rizal.
  3. Raymond Reyes y Cruz, 47 yrs old (Oct. 22, 1973), male, single, jobless, native of Marikina City, presently residing at No. 219 A. Bonifacio Ave, Tañong, Marikina city.

Investigation disclosed that operatives were able to transact with the suspect though a poseur buyer. Upon completion of the deal, they immediately effected the arrest of the suspects.

Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:

A. Nine (9) pcs medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as “shabu”.l;

B. One (1) pc pouch color black with markings NABEL.

C. One (1) pcs Php1000 peso bill (genuine) used as buy bust money.

D. Fourty Nine (49) pcs Php1000 peso bill (Boodle Money).

The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Kagawad Samuel Balibalos Jr., kagwad of Brgy San Jose Rodrigues Rizal and Mr. James Agustin, media representative.

The conficated illegal drugs have an aggregate estimated weight of more or less estimated 167grams with DDB value of Php 1,135, 600. It was turned over to the Crime Laboratory for confirmatory testing while the arrested suspects were detained at Police Station 6, QCPD pending the filing of charges for violation of Sections 5 & 11 Art II RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Resisting Arrest.

“We have another successful buy-bust operation which led to the confiscation of more than 1Milion worth of illegal drugs. NCRPO’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs will continue until we finally discover their sources and connections,” said PMGEN SINAS.
