PROJECT S.I.B.O.L AND NCRPO SERBISYONG TAMA CARAVAN SA BARANGAY CONTINUES TO ROLL-OUT IN METRO

Team NCRPO Serbisyong TAMA Caravan sa Barangay in relation to PNP’s BARANGYanihan Program and Project SIBOL: Simula ng Isang Bagong Oportunidad sa Lipunan reached a larger number of beneficiaries around NCR through the conduct of simultaneous feeding program, distribution of food packs and health kits, IEC materials and the conduct of livelihood skills training on October 2, 2021 at Brgy. BBN North, Navotas City.

NCRPO Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) Team Navotas led by PCpl Nicko Bitagara through the guidance of PCOL JULIUS C SURIBEN, Chief RCADD, NCRPO with the active leadership of PMGEN VICENTE DUPA DANAO, JR., Regional Director, NCRPO together with PLTCOL MARCELINO TELOZA, ACOPO, Navotas City Police Station,
PMAJ ROSEMARIE N DICHE, Chief, CAS, PCPT ADONIS SUGUI, OIC SCAS;
JTF NCR led by Cpl Marciano Gudiana and
Hon. Marilou Gonzales, Brgy. Chairman BBN North led the said activity

The participants of livelihood skills training were taught different skills such as dishwashing soap production, alcohol soap, detergent powder, fabric conditioner, liniment oil and rug making.

Aside from Brgy. BBN North, Navotas City, 11 other barangays including Brgy. NBBS Dagat Dagatan; Brgy. NBBS Kaunlaran; Brgy. San Rafael Village; Brgy. NBBS South-Proper; Brgy. NBBN; Brgy. Bangkulasi; Brgy. Bagumbayan North; Brgy. Bagumbayan South; Brgy. Navotas East; Brgy. Sipac Almacen; and Brgy. Navotas West, Navotas City also received hot meal with eggs, bottled mineral water and IEC materials.

The distribution to the said barangays were led by Office of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division and in partnership with KKDAT-NCR led by Hon. Jodile Cañete, President of KKDAT-NCR, Chairmen in different barangays visited, RCSP Teams, JTF-NCR and Navotas City Police Station.

There were a total of 1,100 beneficiaries, hot meals, bottled mineral waters and IEC materials amounting to PhP 49,500.00 distributed to the displaced workers and other vulnerable sector in Navotas City.

In a message of PMGEN DANAO he said, “Tunay ngang natural na sa atin ang pagtulong sa mga nangangailangan lalong higit ngayong panahon ng pandemya. Asahan po ninyong hindi pa po ito ang huli. Hindi po kami mapapagod na magpaabot ng tulong sa inyo. Patuloy lang po kami sa pagseserbisyo ng TAMA; TApat, may tapang at MAlasakit sa mamamayan.”

He added “nagpapasalamat din po kami sa Brgy. BBN North sa pakikibahagi at pagsuporta ninyo aming programa upang maibahagi ang mga kaalaman na ito. Sa panahon ngayon, sa panahon ng pandemya, magtulungan po tayo at sama-sama nating tulungan ang bawat isa upang maiangat ang ating bnasa”###
