NPD WORKS NON STOP IN CONDUCTING ILLEGAL DRUG STING

In sustaining the war against illegal drugs, the National Capital Region Police Office exerts unrelenting efforts to apprehend illegal drug suspects and seize large amount of shabu.

PBGEN VICENTE DANAO JR commends the successful buy bust operations conducted by the Northern Police District under PBGEN ELISEO DC CRUZ, District Director on December 15-16, 2020 .

The District Drug Enforcement Unit received reports on the alleged rampant selling of Shabu particularly along Pampano St., Malabon City.

Through Intelligence driven operation, elements of DDEU-NPD conducted a planned Buy-bust operation at about 2:00 am of December 16, 2020 infront of No. 27, Blk 1, Pampano St., Ph 2, Area 3, Brgy. Longos, Malabon City against four drug suspects identified as:

  1. Rachel Carlos y Caballa, 44 y/o, married, jobless, presently residing at Mabini St., Brgy. 10, Caloocan City;
  2. Kristine Torres y Enaje, 41 y/o, single, jobless, residing at Cotabato St., Bagong Bantay, Brgy. Ramon Magsaysay, Quezon City;
  3. Erica Penalosa y Garcia, 31 y/o, single, jobless, currenty residing at Area 3, Pampano St., Brgy. Longos, Malabon City; and
  4. Estilito Berlos Jr. y Roxas, 49 y/o, single, jobless, Ph 2, Area 3, Dagat- dagatan, Brgy. Longos, Malabon City

Pieces of evidence recovered were:

a. Four (4) pcs. medium heat sealed plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu;

b. Two (2) pcs. knot tied plastic bag containing suspected Shabu;

c. One (1) pc. genuine P1,000.00 bill utilized as buy-bust money incorporated with four (4) pcs P1,000.00 boodle money; and

d. One (1) unit color white cellular phone apple brand.

A total of suspected shabu with more or less 76 grams with standard drug price amounting to P516,800 were seized from them.

On the other hand, an earlier operation was conducted by the same unit at about 12:30am of December 16, 2020 at No. 119, Interior 1, 4th Avenue, West Grace Park, Brgy. 49, Caloocan City wherein a watchlisted suspect was arrested.

Reports show that the suspect was identified as Marlon Calimlim y Marcelino, Commando Gang Member, 44 y/o,single, driver, presently residing at 4th Avenue, West Grace Park, Brgy. 49, Caloocan City.

He was previously arrested last 2018, and released on 2019 through Plea Bargaining Agreement under Br. 123, Caloocan RTC.

Seized from him were:

a. Five (5) pcs. small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu;

b. One (1) pc. knot tied transparent plastic bag containing suspected Shabu;

c. One (1) pc genuine P1,000.00 bill;

d. One (1) unit cellular phone; and

e. One (1) pc color blue pouch

Shabu worth P414,800.00 weighing more or less 61 grams.

Meanwhile, Valenzuela City Police Station arrested one (1) person at about 6:30 pm of December 15, 2020 along F. Bautista St, Marulas, Valenzuela City.

Suspect was identified as ALFREDO E SORIANO @ NUNOY, male, 33 yrs old, construction worker, presently residing at Bautista St., Marulas, Valenzula City.

Investigation disclosed that a concerned citizen reported one male carrying a fan knife. Upon validation, police officers personally saw soriano holding a fan knife prompting them to arrest him.

  1. Six (6) pcs. heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance;
  2. One 1 pc. stainless fan knife;
  3. One 1 pc Nike sling bag;
  4. Philhealth and Val trace Identification Card;
  5. One 1 pc black cherry mobile basic phone;
  6. One 1 pc black digital weighing scale; and
  7. Two 2 pcs disposable lighter color violet and yellow

Seized items believed to be shabu more or less 3 grams with estimated SDP value of Php 20,400.

The marking and inventory of the recovered pieces of evidence from the three operations were witnessed by Barangay Kagawads and Media Representatives.

All suspected shabu were turned over to Crime Laboratory while suspects are now under the custody of the operating units.

Complaints for violation of R.A. 9165 otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Acts of 2002” while another complaint for violation of BP 6 will be filed against Soriano.

‘I am overwhelmed that our policemen in the field are working non-stop to fight the illegal menace in our region. In no time, these big time drug sources will also be apprehended and put behind bars,” said PBGEN DANAO.
