The 53rd Anniversary of Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) in the National Capital Region was marked as generally peaceful. The Regional Director, PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr affirmed that no untoward incidents were recorded on December 26, 2021 relative to the anniversary of CPP and its armed wing, the New People’s Army (NPA).

During the event, more than 2700 members of various advocacy groups participated in indignation rallies/peace rallies held in different areas of Metro Manila to condemn the atrocities brought by the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) to the country with its more than 50 years of existence.

Among those who participated were members of KKDAT, EAGLES RESPONSE TEAM RIDERS, TODA , former members of Gabriela and KADAMAY, and other advocacy groups who surrendered to the government and opted to express their sentiments against leftists ideologies.

According to the reports submitted by the five Police Districts peace rallies were simultaneously conducted in Tatawid, Brgy Maysilo, Malabon City; Monumento Rotunda, Caloocan City; OLSHNAI Compound, Brgy. 162, Caloocan City; Mc Arthur Highway; Navotas, Market 3, NBBN, Navotas City; C Raymundo Ave to Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City; Brgy. 128 Upper Smokey Mountain, Balut, Tondo, Manila; Villegas Street, Ermita, Manila; Diokno Boulevard Bridge, Pasay City; Osmeña highway; Bangkal; EDSA Magallanes; EDSA Cloverleaf Guadalupe; Jp Rizal ave; Osmeña Highway; Palanan and Singkamas, Makati City; Las Pinas; Muntinlupa; Taguig; Quezon City and other areas of Metro Manila.

“I am deeply moved by the effort of our people to support our intensified fight against terrorism in Metro Manila. Finally, we were able to open the eyes of our society to move against disorder, chaos and conflict which the CPP-NPA-NDF promotes to weaken the community-government bond and ultimately cause the fall of our Nation all for personal gains and prejudices. We can never let this happen.” Said PMGEN DANAO JR.

Meanwhile, two former CTG Members surrendered at Navotas City Police Station, M. Naval St., Sipac-Almacen, Navotas City on the same date oftheir anniversary at about 1:00 pm. Surrenderees known as “Ka Raprap/ Rafael” and “Ka Dennis” returned their pledge of loyalty to the government.Both of them will will undergo Custodial Debriefing and will be endorsed for the DILG- Administered package of Assistance under to the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

On the other hand, nothing can stop the Metro Cops in extending aid to the members of the community as the police force handed gift packs to the the different baranggay in the region as part of Christmas Celebration.

Different police stations and precincts simultaneously conducted gift giving activities in line with Team NCRPO Serbisyong TAMA Caravan sa Baranggay and PNP’s BARANGAYanihan Program.

RD Danao also stated that deployed personnel of NCRPO will continue to secure the region against would be criminals. He further encouraged the other members to open their hearts and minds to help that the government offers.

“Hindi po tayo titigil sa pagpapatupad ng batas lalo’t marami sa ating mga kababayan ang nakabakasyon at nagcecelebrate ng holidays kasama ang pamilya. Nais nating mapanatiling panatag ang inyong mga kalooban na kayo ay may pulis na nakaantabay at nakabantay, he said.

“Gayundin, muli po tayo ay nananawagan sa ating mga kababayan na patuloy na pinapaikot sa mga maling idelohiya ng mga makakaliwa, ang kapulisan ay bukas palad kayong tutulungan at pakikinggan anumang panahon at pagkakataon.” RD Danao added. ###
