PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr., commended the elements of Investigation and Detection Management Section (IDMS) – Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) of Caloocan City Police Station under PCOL SAMUEL V MINA, Chief of Police for the arrest of Caloocan’s 5th Most Wanted Person for the 2nd Quarter CY 2021 on June 15, 2021 at about 9:15PM along Samaria St., Barangay 187, Tala Caloocan City.
Based on the report, operating units conducted manhunt operations during SEMPO that resulted in the arrest of Teddy Araos y Castro alyas Balong, 33 years old, construction worker and a resident of Green Valley St., Barangay 187, Caloocan City. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder issued by a Regional Trial Court in Caloocan City.
During the arrest, accused was appraised of his constitutional rights and was brought to the station for documentation and proper disposition.
“Regardless of the current pandemic, our police operatives continue to relentlessly pursue persons wanted by the law. This serves as a warning to those with standing warrants of arrest, that your police force will not stop until law offenders are held accountable for the crime they committed and are put behind bars.” PMGEN Danao stated. ###
