NCRPO: PNP BARANGAYanihan Program and in support to PRLE and SUCBEM Clusters of EO No. 70, National Capital Region Police Office Chief, PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr., together with PBGEN Antonio C Yarra, District Director, Quezon City Police District, PCOL Julius C Suriben, Chief, RCADD and PCOL Lambert A Suerte, FC, RMFB spearheaded the NCRPO Serbisyong TAMA Caravan sa Barangay in Barangay Old Capitol Site, Quezon City on May 27, 2021.
Also included in the activity are PLTCOL Benjamin P Ariola, Chief DCADD, QCPD; PLTCOL IMELDA M REYES, Station Cmmdr, PS 9, QCPD; Hon. Rodel C Cabigas, Chairman, Brgy Old Capitol Site, Q.C.; Mr. Leo Magalued, Team Leader, Anti-Crime and Community Emergency Response Team (ACCERT) Philcoa Chapter; Mr. Antonio Mariano, Adviser Ugnayan Likod Pader Assn (ULPA); Mr Archie F Fuentes, President, Ugyonan ng Ilonggo Assn Inc (UIAI); Ms Lea V Palaca, President ULPA and Mr Allan Vicente, President, ACCERT.
The activity was participated by the members of the Ugnayan sa Likod Pader Association (ULPA) and Ugyonan ng Ilongo Association Inc. (UIAI). Among the highlights of the activity were lectures on Anti-Criminality which was led by PLT Jean C Aguada of the Station Speakers Bureau, InfoCARE, Anti-illegal Drugs, and ELCAC. As well as the distribution of Food packs, Health kits to 1,200 families residing in the area. Cash assistance were also given by the good general to 15 senior citizens and persons with disability aside from the 2 wheelchairs from the program “Gulong ng Suwerte” of PCOL LAMBERT SUERTE, Force Commander, RMFB -NCRPO.
Likewise, PMGEN Danao administered the Oath taking of the officers of ULPA and UIAI followed by the Ceremonial Signing of a Manifesto between Team NCRPO and the Officers of ULPA and UIAI. The signing of the manifesto is in Support to ELCAC, Terrorism, Anti-illegal Drugs and Anti-Criminality.
In his message during the program, PMGEN Danao extended his gratitude to the leaders and members of ULPA and UIAI for their support in maintenance of the peace and order in the Quezon City Police District. PMGEN Danao also encouraged the residents in the area to avoid being involved in illegal activities particularly in illegal drugs. “Hindi dahilan ang estado ng buhay, hindi dahilan ang kahirapan sa para gumawa tayo ng kalokohan, bagkos ito ay nagbubuklod sa ating lahat na magtulungan, ito ay dapat maging basehan natin upang lalo tayong mag-cooperate sa isat isa lalong-lalo na po sa panahon ng pandemya.” He added.
PMGEN Danao also expressed his gratefulness to the stakeholders and benefactors of Team NCRPO for all their donations. “Sa patuloy na pagbibigay namin ng mga tulong sa ibat-ibang barangay sa ating rehiyon, dumarami din sa ating mga kababayan ang nagbibigay ng mga goods, bigas, de lata, wheel chair at iba pa na amin rin ipinamamahagi sa ating mga kababayan na alam natin na nangangailagan ng tulong.” PMGEN Danao stated.
After the activity, PMGEN Danao together with his team visited the livelihood project on rug making in the said Barangay. He thanked the benefactors who tirelessly support NCRPO for the donation of four units of sewing machines to start the said project. Subsequently, he purchased all the finished products.
Moreover, in relation to NCRPO’s Adopt A Family Program, PMGEN Danao, visited and gave financial assistance for the five month old child who was abandoned by his mother. ###
