PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR commends the operatives of the National Capital Region Police Office on their non -stop operational accomplishments in a single day which includes the arrest of four Most Wanted Persons and a Watchlisted in Metro Manila on 17th day of February 2021.
Elements of Holy Spirit Police Station PS 14 successfully arrested the Top 2 male drug personality in the buy-bust operation at about 5:00PM of February 17, 2021 at Bonifacio St, Corner McArthur St, Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City.
Suspect was identified as Gerald Gepiga y Carnay, 40 yrs old, male, single, construction worker, native and residing at Quezon City. He was found listed on Drug Watchlist of Barangay Pasong Tamo.
Investigation disclosed that elements of P S-14, SDEU conducted an anti-illegal drug operation which resulted in the arrest of Gepiga.
Seized from his possession and control the following evidence to wit:
- Eight (8) pcs heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance allegedly methampetamine hydroclhloride locally known as “shabu” More or less 10 grams with estimated value of 68,000 pesos.
- One (1) piece color light blue pouch
- Two (2) pieces of one hundred peso bill
- Three (3) pieces one thousand peso boodle money.
Also, Police Station 5, Muntinlupa Police Station successfully served a warrant of arrest against Aleli Nolasco y Arciaga, 33 y/o, female, single, jobless and residing at Brgy. Cupang, Muntinlupa City.
Records show that at about 2:15 PM of the same day, elements of Warrant and Subpoena Unit were dispatched and conducted SEMPO, wherein they proceeded at 214 Brgy. Cupang , Muntinlupa City. There and then, they successfully arrested the accused by virtue of WOA issued by Hon. Presiding Judge LIEZEL A. AQUITAN of Regional Trial Court Branch 205, Muntinlupa City, for violation of Section 11 Article II of RA 9165 docketed under Criminal Case No. 18-274 dated November 19, 2020.She had been CONVICTED in Criminal Case Number 19 -1368 For Violation of Section 11 Article II of RA 9165 in aJudgement promulgated in open court on November 19, 2020.
Likewise, the Number 3 Most Wanted Person of Southern Police District also fell in the hands of Parañaque City Police Station’s Intelligence Section and Sub Station 3 personnel at about 1:40 PM of the February 17, 2021
Reports submitted by the station revealed that accused, Neil Francis Borromeo Tal Placido, 53 y/o, married, jobless is currently residing at Brgy Don Galo, Paranaque City.
Accordingly, operatives conducted a “Manhunt Charlie” at Kaybuboy Bridge along Dr. A. Santos Ave., Brgy San Dionisio, Paranaque City. The accused was arrested by virtue of WOA issued by HON. JUDGE PHOEVE CASTILLO MEER, RTC Branch 275, Las Pinas City for Carnapping under Criminal Case No. 21-0145.
Another service of warrant of arrest was successfully conducted by Trackers of Station Intelligence Section of Marikina City Police Station against their Top 8 most wanted Person at about 3:10 PM of February 17, 2021 at block E 1, lot 3, Brgy. San Andres 1, Dasmariñas, Cavite .
Accused was identified as Lito Llonora y Gonzales, 53 y/o, Single, Mason and residing at Lot 3, Brgy San Andres 1, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Operation stemmed after a long week surveillance operation against the accused. Upon confirmation of his whereabouts, operatives arrested him by virtue of WOA issued by Hon. FELIX P REYES presiding Judge of RTC BRANCH 272, Marikina City for the Crime of Frustrated Murder under Criminal Case No. 06-8651-MK with Php 200,000.00 recommended bail.
Lastly, operatives from Las Piñas City Police Station served a warrant of arrest to the Top 8 Most Wanted Person of their City at Bacoor City Jail, Male Dormitory, BJMP.
Records revealed that at about 1:30 PM, joint operation of the elements of WSS and elements of Station Intelligence Section served WOA against Peping Lontoc @ Jose Lontoc y Pasco, 40 y/o, male, single, jobless and resident of Brgy.,Manuyo 1,Las Piñas City.
The accused has a pending WOA issued by Hon. Judge ELIZABETH YU-GURAY of Regional Trial Court Branch 199, Las Pias City dated November 24, 2020 for the case of THEFT, docketed under Crim. Case No. 20-1182 with bail recommended of Php 6,000.00.
Arrested persons were informed of his constitutional rights.
Suspect for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is now under custody of the station. Meanwhile, accused persons are under the custody of the operating units before returning to the court of origin.
