The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR. lauds the operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Unit – PS 4 Novaliches, Quezon City Police District in coordination with PDEA NCR and Northern Police District for a successful buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of four (4) drug personalities at # 68 North Diversion Road, Brgy. 151, Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City at around 5:00 PM on April 5, 2021.
Based on the report submitted by the operatives of PS – 4 Novaliches, the arrested suspects were identified as:
a.) Sherwin Soria y Parayoan, 41 years old;
b.) Jennifer Ortega y Regis, 39 years old;
c.) Isabel De Gusman y Enerio 29 years old; and
d.) Eugene Del Rosario y Delector 38 years old.
The arrest was plotted through the information provided by PDEA NCR. The joint operatives conducted a pre-arranged buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of the suspects and confiscation and recovery of the following pieces of evidence:
a.) Eight (8) pcs of heatsealed transparent plastic sachet containing undetermined quantity of white crystalline substances suspected shabu;
b.) One (1) pc of one thousand Peso Bill used as buy bust money;
c.) Thirty-nine (39) pcs of one thousand pesos boodle money;
d.) One (1) unit of cellular phone touch screen; and
e.) One (1) pc of pouch.
The confiscated illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 47 grams with a DDB value amounting to PHP 319,600.00.
The arrested suspects were turned-over to Novaliches Police Station for proper disposition.
Meanwhile, on the same date, District Drug Enforcement Unit of Northern Police District also conducted a buy-bust operation along 10th avenue, Brgy. 62 Caloocan City at around 2:30 PM.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two drug suspects identified as:
a.) Lester Tanaleon (MNU), 24 years old; and
b.) Michelle Mendoza y Diamzon, 25 years old.
The arrest ensued through Intelligence Driven Operation of the operatives of District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) led by C, DDEU PLTCOL MACARI0 A LOTEYRO and DEPUTY, DDEU PMAJ JERRY S GARCES under the supervision of OIC, DID PLTCOL ALLAN UMIPIG.
Seized from the suspect’s possession and control are the following pieces of evidence:
a.) Three (3) pieces medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu;
b.) One (1) piece genuine 500-peso bill incorporated with 6 pieces 1 thousand boodle money; and
c.) One-piece small coin purse color black.
Estimated total weight of shabu confiscated is more or less 12 grams with standard drug price amounting to PHP 81,600 pesos. Suspects was brought to NPD DDEU office for proper documentation.
Likewise, Manila Police District, Station Drug Enforcement Unit, PS – 3 Central Market arrested a suspect in possession of illegal drugs during the conduct of Police Visibility Patrol around the area of Ipil St., corner Quiricada St., Brgy. 327, Sta. Cruz, Manila at around 2:30 PM of April 5, 2021.
The arrested suspect was identified as GERALD IVAN FLORES y BALIGASA, 24 years old.
The recovered evidence was One (1) pc. heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance of believed to be “SHABU” with estimated total weight of 25 grams including its masking tape and with estimated DDB street value amounting to PHP 170,000. It was brought to PS – 3 SDEU for proper disposition.
The arrested suspects are to face charges for violation of Secs. 5 and 11 Article II of RA 9165 otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Acts of 2002”.
