NCRPO; SERIES OF TAGUIG BUY BUST OPERATIONS YIELD P1.1M ILLEGAL DRUGS, 6 ARRESTED INCLUDING TOP 2 ILLEGAL DRUG PERSONALITY

The National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR lauds the elements of the DDEU-SPD led by PMAJ CECILIO G TOMAS JR., under the supervision of PLTCOL RENANTE M GALANG, C, DID/D2 together with personnel of DID and DMFB-SPD, and SPD-SDEU Taguig City Police Station Team led by PLT ARIZ A RAMOS, Chief, SDEU with the guidance of PCOL GERSON S BISAYAS for the successful conduct of buy-bust operations which resulted to the confiscation of more than 860k worth of suspected illegal drugs.

According to the initial report submitted by SPD Director, PBGEN JIMILI L MACARAEG at around 6:20 in the evening of Tuesday, January 11, a tricycle driver identified as Halil Abo y Mama @ Abu 26 years old was arrested by Taguig SDEU led by PLT ARIZ A RAMOS. Suspect was in possession of two (2) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 25.5 grams with Standard Drug Price of Php 173,400.00, one white/brown Marlboro cigarette box and Php 200.00 buy bust money.

After an hour at 7:25 PM , elements of DDEU-SPD conducted a buy-bust operation leading to the arrest of WYNLOVE BUCO y PEREZ, 38 years old and EUSEBIO JR. BAHIA y SIQUIG, 43 years old along # 0131 BLK. 3, Catleya St., Samama Phase 2, Napindan, Taguig City.

Recovered from them were 8 pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu respectively marked with GMD, GMD-1, GMD-2, GMD-3, GMD-4, GMD-5, GMD-6 and GMD-7, all with date and signature and weighing MOL 75.8 grams with an estimated SDP value of Php 515, 440.00; 1 pice genuine Php 500 bill bearing serial number PZ752752 marked with letter D at the upper right portion and utilized as the buy-bust money; and 1 piece gray eye glass case (BENCH), marked with GMD-8.

Thereafter at about 10:05PM , SPD PS-6 Taguig City arrested one Raffy Lumenda y Muhamad , 44 years old after recovering two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 50.8 grams with Standard Drug Price of Php 345,440.00; and two pieces of One-hundred-peso bill (PHp 100.00) bearing serial number HF732802 and NB932154 both has a letter “X” marking at the right upper portion of the peso bill utilized as buy bust money from him in a buy bust operation launched along Road 9 Maguindanao St., Brgy. New Bicutan, Taguig City.

Further, at around 11:00PM two (2) male individuals were arrested for illegal drugs along MLQ St.,Purok 5, Brgy. Lower Bicutan, Taguig City in an anti-illegal drugs operation by Taguig SDEU. The suspects were identified as Alvin Co y Amil a.k.a Abeng, 36 years old and ranked number 2 in the top 10 illegal drug personalities of SPD and Jessie Christopher Cruz y Tan, 38 years old.

Recovered from them were four (4) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 11.2grams with Standard Drug Price of Php 76,160.00, one black coin purse and Php 200.00 buy bust money.

All seized illegal drugs were turned over to SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis while the arrested suspects are now under the custody of SPD DDEU and Taguig SDEU. Cases for Violation of RA 9165 are now being prepared against the arrested suspects.

“Malugod ko pong binabati ang ating mga kasama sa Southern Police District sa matagumpay na pagkahuli sa mahigit k worth of Illegal Drugs sa dalawang magkasunod na buy-bust operations sa kanilang nasasakupan. Magsilbi nawa itong babala na sa kabila ng umiiral na pandemya ay patuloy tayo sa pagpapaigting ng ating laban kontra kriminalidad ilegal na droga.” wika ni PMGEN DANAO Jr.

The arrested suspects were brought to the police station pending the filing of appropriate charges for violation of the dangerous drugs law of 2002 while the pieces of drug evidence collected were taken to the forensic laboratory for confirmatory testing.###
