In line with the strengthening of anti-criminality campaign of NCRPO, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR, Regional Director NCRPO spearheaded the Closing of Patrolling and Response Operations Training to Empower CVOs and Tanods on June 2, 2021 at Brgy Sta Lucia Brgy Hall, San Juan City.

PMGEN DANAO was accompanied by other NCRPO Officers to include: PBGEN MATTHEW BACCAY, DD, EPD; and PCOL ELPIDIO RAMIREZ, COP, San Juan City.

Meanwhile, City Mayor Francisco M Zamora also attended the event to show his support to his constituents along with Vice Mayor Warren Villa, Atty Bel Zamora, City Admin Atty Dennis Albert Pamintuan and Brgy Chairman. Hon Eustaquio V Belches Jr.

On the other hand, Advocacy groups were composed of Ustad Hagnor Abdul Wahid, Imam; Ms. Marilou Lee, President of Hinirang Lady Eagle; Johnson Lee, President of Valorous Quezon Eagles Club; Ms. Ivy S Baleros City Anti- illegal drug abuse council; Mr. Nassif Malawani, President of Men in Uniform Civilian Coalition and Sharief Frazier Sakir. The KKDAT, TPMO, TODAs and Maagap Crame are also present.

The PROTECT aims to strengthen the capabilities of NCRPO’s force multipliers so that the response to any untoward incidents would be swifter. The training was participated by 53 tanods and Civilian Volunteer Organizations from four barangays, Brgy. Sta Lucia, Bgry Corazon De Jesus, Brgy Batis, and Bgry Pasadeña.

During the event, the Oath Taking and Ceremonial Signing of Manifesto of support of Advocacy Groups of San Juan City was conducted wherein they pledged their commitment to support ELCAC, plans, programs, and activities of the government and the NCRPO condemning the CNTs violence and atrocities.

In addition to this, they also commit to conduct weekly community clean-up drive and promote strengthened enforcement of environmental and public health and safety ordinances together with the PNP-NCRPO.

To further maximized the day, a lecture on InfoCare, Anti-Criminality Campaign, Illegal Drugs, Terrorism and ELCAC has been conducted by the DCADD and SCAS personnel .

As part of the help that the Team NCRPO would like to extend, they also distributed 280 food pack, 280 health kits, 510 IEC Materials, 53 certificates, 53 identification cards, and 100 bibles to the Force Multipliers and other participants. Followed by the candle lighting and singing of “If we hold on together ” as a symbol of unity/ oneness and commitment in facing all the challenges and adversaries.

PMGEN DANAO JR was elated with the support shown by the local government, advocacy groups and the community towards the NCRPO’s endeavour.

“Lubos po ang aking pasasalamat sa inyong lahat para sa walang sawang pagsuporta sa mga proyekto ng NCRPO. Sa pamamagitan ng ating sama-samang lakas, sinseridad at dedikasyon, mapagtatagumpayan natin ang bawat hamon na parating hindi lamang sa aspeto ng kriminalidad, terorismo o droga maging sa hamon na dulot ng pandemya,”wika ni PMGEN DANAO JR.###
