NCRPO PARTAKES IN THE GRAND LAUNCHING AND OATHTAKING OF THE NATIONAL COALITION OF LINGKOD BAYAN ADVOCACY SUPPORT GROUPS AND FORCE MULTIPLIERS

The National Capital Region Police Office enjoins the Grand Launching and Oathtaking of the National Coalition of Lingkod Bayan Advocacy Support Groups and Force Multipliers administered by PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTRE on June 25, 2021 via zoom application.

A total of 62 participants were present at the Hinirang Multi-purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City that comprises the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo, Religious Groups, Kaligkasan, TODA, Bantay Bayan/Tanod ( Eagle Force Multiplier), Lady Eagles Club and LGBT Community.

Also present during the activity were PBGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PBGEN JON A ARNALDO, Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PBGEN ROMMEL BERNARDO A CABAGNOT, Chief of the Regional Staff , other officers and RCADD staff.

Meanwhile, other officers from different districts and stations as well as the diferent advocacy groups attended via online platform in order to ensure adherence to the minimum health and safety protocols.

The National Coalition of Lingkod Bayan Advocacy Support Groups and Force Multipliers aims to emphasize the role of the community/ advocacy groups in the maintenance of peace and order in the country. With the support and cooperation from various advocacy groups and force multipliers, the PNP believes to greatly gain the trust and confidence of the people in the men in uniform.

The advocacy groups and force multipliers simultaneously took their oath to cooperate and coordinate with the authorities towards peaceful and orderly society.

PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR , Chief PNP on his message emphasis the importance of the support given by the advocacy groups due to the insufficient number of police officers.

Meanwhile, PRESIDENT RODRIGO DUTERTE on his speech recalled the communists members and activities that were present during his time in Davao. He further lamented that illegal drugs must be eradicated in the country for it ruins the future of the youth.

“We cannot overthink aside the invaluable role of the PNP in the deterrent of crimes and maintaining peace and order in our society. But we cannot also deny the fact that if we are to totally eradicate the criminality and terrorism we need the active participation of our people,” he said.

“I want you to keep in mind that the cooperation is integral in the success our collective, genuine and lasting peace. I therefore trust in partnership with the PNP will remain strong in the years ahead. We all have a part in building a better nation. I have peace to know. As we overcome this pandemic, may we be more united and enlightened for safer future for every Filipino,” he concluded.###
