“The more we sweat in training, the less we bleed in battle.” This saying was echoed in today’s opening ceremony of Basic Internal Security Operations Course Class 09-2021
spearheaded by the Chief NCRPO himself, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR at Hinirang Multi-purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City this 11th day of June, 2021.
The batch comprise of 22 female and 74 male police officers who will undergo 60-day extensive training on Basic Internal Security Operations. The two-month training includes Rope Courses, Close Quarter Battle (CQB), First Aid, Immediate Action Drill (IAD), Water/Seaborne Tactics, Terrain Modeling, Survival, Field Training Exercises and Community Immersion. The trainees will also be exposed to rigid physical and psychological empowerment trainings and seminars throughout the course.
This effort is in line with the directive under Executive Order 110 directing the PNP to support the AFP in internal security operations for the suppression of insurgency and other serious threats to national security.
“Ang pagpapaigting sa ating kampanya laban sa terorismo ay isa sa mga pangunahing programang pinagtutuunan ng pansin ng ating kapulisan. Alisunod dito, tinitiyak nating may sapat tayong kakayahan na harapin at pagtagumpayan ang mga responsibilidad na kaakibat ng ating madato laban sa terorismo.
