NCRPO: MOL 37 MILLION WORTH OF SHABU BUSTED IN TWO SEPARATE DRUG STINGS IN QC, FOUR DRUG SUSPECTS ARRESTED

NCRPO – In its battle to curb the proliferation of illegal drugs in the Metro, PMGEN VICENTE DANAO JR, constantly reminds its operating units to intensify their efforts in coordination with other PNP Units, Law Enforcement Agencies and PDEA. With this, two (2) successful buy-bust operation was conducted that resulted in apprehension of multiple drug personalities and confiscation of huge amount of suspected illegal drugs.

RD DANAO JR lauded the joint operation of NCRPO RID-RSOG-RDEU together with CDEU-LIPA and QCPD PS-15 for conducting joint buy bust operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect who was identified as Jason John Alberca Y De Guzman aka Junjun 43 years old along SM North EDSA, Brgy. Sto Cristo, Quezon City at around 6:40 PM on September 3, 2021.

Based on the report submitted, during the operation one of the personnel acted as a poseur buyer and managed to purchase 1 kg of suspected shabu in-exchange of PhP 1,500,000.00. Thereafter, the operatives pushed-through with the pre-arranged buy-bust operation. However, two suspects who were identified as Juneross Guillermo De Leon, 38 years old and Micheal De Leon, 43 years old managed to escape on board color white Nissan Navarra pick-up towards the direction of Balintawak.

Seized from the suspect’s possession and control are the following pieces of evidence:

A. Three (3) color gold plastic Chinese tea bag containing one compressed seal transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline while substance suspected to be shabu;

B. One (1) unit of cellphone, SONY Android, color blue;

C. Two (2) Eco Bag; and

D. Fifteen (15) pieces of genuine PhP 1,000.00 bills incorporated with fifteen (15) bundles of boodle money.

The confiscated illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 3 kilograms with DDB value amounting to PhP 36,800,000.00. It was turned-over to EPD-CLO for proper disposition while the arrested suspect was brought to RDEU for proper documentation.

Meanwhile, on September 4, 2021 at around 4:00 AM along Toktokan St., corner Bahawan St., Brgy. Masambong Quezon City operatives of Police Station – 2 Masambong Stations Drug Enforcement Unit led by PMAJ MORCILLO, Chief SDEU under the supervision of SC, PLTCOL RITCHIE CLARAVALL also conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of three drug personalities who were identified as Marie Ann Tongco y Del Pilar aka COLEN, 28 years old; Allan Isaac Giducos y Gorrez aka ALLAN, 25 years old; and Alvin Pangilinan y Fernandez aka ALVIN, 29 years old.

Recovered from the scene are the following pieces of evidence:

A. Eighteen (18) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance, suspected to Shabu, a dangerous drug with weight of more or less 75 grams with a DDB value amounting to PhP 510,000;

B. One (1) piece of Genuine Five Hundred Peso Bill (500) with serial no. AS959554 incorporated with six pieces of one thousand peso bill boodle money all marked as “IE” and serves as buy bust money; and

C. One (1) piece of colored black wallet.

The items were duly marked and inventoried with the presence of Kagawad Rocky G. Alpa of Brgy. Masambong, QC and Media Representative Mr. Alex Mendoza of Hataw Dyaryo ng Bayan.

The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to PS – 2 Masambong Office for investigation while charges for violation of RA 9165 is being readied.

PMGEN DANAO acknowledged the joint effort of the operatives who conducted the buy-bust operations. The recovery of more or less 37 million worth of shabu will greatly contribute in the elimination of drug proliferation in Metro Manila. He also assured the public that despite the threat of the current health crisis it will not be a hindrance to the police force to fulfill their duty in maintaining peace and order.
