NCRPO Launched a Successful Simultaneous One-Time Big-Time Community Outreach Program Metro Wide

In line with its mandate to bring the police closer to the community, National Capital Region Police Office under the command of PMGEN FELIPE R NATIVIDAD through the Office of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (ORCADD) led by PCOL ROMY I PALGUE, Chief, RCADD, in collaboration with the five (5) Police Districts and Regional Mobile Force Battalion of NCRPO simultaneously launched a total of 109 Community Outreach Programs in the 16 cities and 1 municipality of Metro Manila.

The activity was participated to by 52 agencies, 69 other services, 992 advocacy support groups deployed and other stakeholders and force multipliers.

In sum, over 31, 033 pieces of of IEC Materials containing valuable information on Anti-terrorism, Enhance Comprehensive Local Integration Program and NTF-ElCAC with emergency hotline numbers were given to over 15, 402 beneficiaries together with food packs, hot meals like porridge with egg, Burger King products, bottled water and other flyers.

This stunning activity was carried out at the peak of protest rallies hurled by dissatisfied groups of the recently concluded national and local elections and a continuation of series of community services of the NCRPO to reach out all indigent communities in Metro Manila.

Hence we desire not only to intensify but to institutionalize our effort to regain the trust and confidence of our people to their police and the government towards the attainment of our common vision of a safe, peaceful and progressive community for all.” Said PMGEN NATIVIDAD.
