NCRPO Kicks-off Simultaneous Relief Operation to Celebrate Ramadhan 2021

The National Capital Region under the helm of its current Chief, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR kicks off a Metrowide relief and gift giving operation together with its five police districts to support the celebration of Ramadhan 2021.

Ramadhan for our Muslim brothers is a holy month of fasting. It is a time dedicated for spiritual reflection, self-improvement, heightened devotion, prayer and worship. During this time, they abstain not only from food and drink, but also from tobacco products, sexual relations, and sinful behaviors devoting themselves instead to prayer and recitation of the Quran.

Recognizing the indispensable role of our Muslim brothers to the success of our peace and order endeavors, NCRPO partakes in this holy celebration by sharing more than 8000 food packs, health kits and other goods aimed towards helping our Muslim brothers with their needs amid the growing number of families affected by the global health crisis.

Indeed, the beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people and today, NCRPO takes the lead in embracing the differences and empowering unity and positive relationship with our Muslim brothers.

During the activity, to ensure the safety of those who will participate, strict observance of existing health protocol shall be observed.

Moreover, the distribution shall be done per area and house wherein a chair is place infront of the house of each beneficiary.  Likewise, each area shall be manned and personally to be supervised by officers of NCRPO and the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), respectively.

“I would like to acknowledge the support of our stakeholders and counterparts who worked with us to ensure the success of this endeavor. I am grateful for their generosity and selflessness in extending a hand to our Muslim brothers especially during this trying times.” Said PMGEN DANAO JR

The activity will commence first hour of April 17, 2021 and will be attended to by no less than the CHIEF PNP himself, PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS. ###
