NCRPO Joins 28th PNP Ethics Day Celebration

The National Capital Region Police Office under PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR participated in the celebration of the 28th PNP Ethics Day Celebration through a webinar on anti-graft and corrupt practices for PCOs, and Lectures on Ethical Leadership and Values Formation on January 10,2022.

This year’s celebration is anchored on the theme, “Matibay na Paninindigan ng Kapulisan, Hatid ay Karangalan para sa Kaunlaran ng Bayan”.

With the sudden surge of the global health crisis amid the proliferation of new covid variants, the NCRPO affirmed its commitment to deliver serbisyong TAMA to the people of Metro Manila.

“The delivery of a quality police service is dependent upon the kind of values possessed by every police officer. These standards guide them in making decisions, actions and judgements. This also reflects in their attitude towards the people. Hence, we aim to strengthen their moral fiber through seminars/webinars like this to ensure that their values are honed and developed in accordance with the expectations of the uniformed service.” Said PMGEN DANAO JR.

Despite the pressing situation faced by NCRPO not only due to the increasing number of covid 19 cases in the Metro, the upcoming national elections and its intensified campaign against all forms of criminality, illegal drugs and terrorism, its Regional Director PMGEN DANAO JR guaranteed that internal cleansing effort and values development initiatives is on top of its priorities.

“We constantly strive towards the establishment of a strong moral fiber among our men to ensure that they develop the theme we echo today in the celebration of the 28th PNP ethics day “Matibay na Paninindigan ng Kapulisan, Hatid ay Karangalan para sa Kaunlaran ng Bayan”. Our pursuit for public safety and security focuses not only on external factors but more so on the effectiveness of our internal cleansing effort.” he added.

The PNP Ethics Day is celebrated annually to remind and reinforce the adherence of police officers on the ethical doctrine established to ensure moral excellence, discipline, professionalism and strong values among its personnel.###
