NCRPO: GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY KICKS OFF CONSTRUCTION OF NCRPO TRAINEE BARRACKS
The National Capital Region Police Office under the strong leadership of PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR held the ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of NCRPO Trainee Barracks on September 14, 2021 at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.
The construction of the NCRPO Trainee Barracks was made possible thru the SILG Reversion and Reprogramming of Unobligated/Unutilized Trust Receipt Funds from the TR Funded Project of the PNP with an approved amount of PhP 23, 337, 300.00.
This project was initially named as “Bahay Pari” that was intended to house priest in NCRPO, but eventually realigned and reprogrammed to the construction of the trainee barracks that will accommodate trainees.
On behalf of RD DANAO, PBGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, DRDA, NCRPO delivered his message, RD DANAO extended his gratitude to the people behind this project that made it possible. This reprogramming project will greatly benefit NCRPO in relation to the continuous overseeing of the personnel’s welfare.
Further, he said “upon completion of this project, it will provide the trainees a comfortable accommodation while learning and it will also give them the time to focus directly on their training instead of thinking of the everyday hassle of going to and from their residence to the regional headquarters.”
Finally, RD DANAO has a high expectation that this project will serve its purpose to further the proficiency of the personnel in achieving excellence and highest form of competence of police service to meet the expectation of the people. ###
