NCRPO DUTERTE LEGACY CARAVAN: BARANGAYANIHAN TOWARDS NATIONAL RECOVERY LAUNCHED IN PARAÑAQUE

The National Capital Region Police Office, under the helm of its Regional Director, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR held the NCRPO DUTERTE LEGACY CARAVAN: Barangayanihan Towards National Recovery for Muslim Communities of Parañaque City on November 3, 2021 at Baclaran Elementary School, Baclaran, Parañaque City.

The event was attended by RPOC Chairman/Mayor Edwin Olivarez, Cong Eric Olivarez, PBEN JIMILI L MACARAEG, DD SPD, PCOL MAXIMO FRIAL SEBASTIAN JR, COP, Parañaque, Dir John Visca, City DILG and representatives from other government agencies including Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Rural Health Unit (RHU), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), City Permits and Licensing, and PNP Frontline Services as well as NGOs.

The beneficiaries of the said activity include 14 newly coopted former CTG Affected Mass Organization Leaders and 1 CTG Surrenderee who received SIBOL Livelihood Cash Assistance.

The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Parañaque conducted a job fair that offered possible job opportunity for the participants. The DOLE has also established their Booth that catered their questions and inquiries. Further, the Rural Health Unit (RHU) provided a free eye check-up and processing of Unified ID System was also administered.

Consequently, Team NCRPO distributed food packs “Mula sa PUSO ng Kapulisan”, processed police clearance and mobilized a Mobile Free Market and Mobile School.

Among the highlight also comprised the reading of the RPOC Resolution Commending the RD NCRPO, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR and Team NCRPO for the crafting and sustained implementation of NCRPO’s Simula ng Isang Bagong Oportunidad sa Lipunan (SIBOL) Program in support to EO Nr 70s 2018 which served as the regional platform in bringing the whole of nation approach down to the barangay level towards the attainment of stable security, good governance and sustainable development in NCR.

RPOC Chairman and Hon. Mayor Edwin Olivarez expressed his gratitude to the police personnel, he said “Gusto ko pong batiin ang ating mga kapulisan sa patuloy na pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan dito sa ating syudad. Sa kanilang patuloy na pagmamahal at pagmamalasakit sa mga nangangailangan lalong lalo na mission area dito sa ating syudad.”

He also said “There is no progress and development without peace and order. Nandito po ang pamahalaang lokal katulong po ang ating iba’t-ibang National Government Agencies at ang Local Government sa pagkalinga sa ating mga kababayan dito sa lungsod ng Parañaque.”

Meanwhile, in a message of PMGEN DANAO he said “Alam niyo po kami po ay natutuwa dahil unang una this is not the first time na nagkita kita po tayo. Ito pong ating sinasabing Oplan Mapayapang Paranaque is part of our program para po sa isang maayos na pagpapatupad ng peace and order. At syempre hindi po yan mangyayari without the help of the LGU.”

He added “I would also like to take this opportunity para pasalamatan po ang ating mga kababayan, lalong lalo na po ang ating mga kababayan na nagbabalik loob sa atin pong gobyerno. Kayo po ay nagtiwala sa atin pong pamamalakad. Sana po maencourage pa po natin yung ating mga iba pang kasamahan na magbalik loob at put a stop to this deception.”###
