NCRPO DEPLOYS PERSONNEL FOR RELIEF OPS IN TYPHOON STRICKEN AREAS

In line with Team NCRPO’s Serbisyong TAMA, TApat, may tapang at MAlasakit sa mamamayan, members of the contingent team composed of Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF) and nine personnel designated as drivers were dispatched to typhoon Odette affected areas as early as December 29, 2021 for the conduct of Security Safety and Response Operations.

With the support and joint effort of La Rosa Homes, Nabaja Foundation and SPIN Media, the team was provided with three Hino Trucks for the transportation of relief goods to be distributed to the victims of typhoon Odette in Cebu City and Negros Occidental from January 1, 2022 up to January 8, 2022.

The team started relief operations in Cebu City then proceeded to Negros Occidental where they will be conducting relief operations in Cauyan, Negros Occidental and Dumaguete City. Due to the call of duty, the team spent the New Year on their way to the areas devastated by the previous typhoon. This manifest the spirit of public service wherein serving the people precedes any occasion or celebrations with their families and loved ones.

NCRPO reported earlier that a contingent team will be deployed to the areas that was devastated by typhoon Odette. The team is composed of 75 RSSF from the five Police District of NCRPO and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion as well.

“ Lagi pong nakahanda ang inyong kapulisan sa pagtulong sa ating mga kababayan at hindi po kami magsasawang tumulong para sa kapakanan ng ating mamamayan. Ito ang nagpapakita ng aming pagkakaisa at pagtupad sa aming sinumpaang tungkulin, kahit na may mga kasamahan rin kaming biktima ng bagyong Odette.” PMGEN Danao ended. ###
