To ensure the safe and peaceful celebration of UNDAS 2021, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR announced that the police force of Team NCRPO is ready and equipped to patrol and monitor their areas of responsibilities to maintain peace and order during the said holiday.
Since the government’s pandemic task force declared that public and private cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbarium in the entire country will be closed from October 29 to November 2 to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease, PNP personnel were already deployed since October 25, 2021. This is to cater the needs of the public who will visit their loved ones before the closure.
A total of 3,356 personnel including 122 LGU’s/MMDA and 1,714 Force Multipliers were already deployed to 121 cemeteries and columbarium around Metro Manila. Currently, they are providing security and at the same time reminding the public to follow the health and safety protocols during their visit.
The deployed personnel will continue to guard up the areas until November 2 to assure that no one will violate the imposed guidelines.
Siguro it would be very proper huwag ng dalhin ang mga bata.
Pangalawa bawal din po ang illegal firearms or any bladed weapon that could harm anyone, so bawal po yun. Let us commemorate our loved ones, let us pray for them solemnly para maidaos po natin ang UNDAS ng maayos.”###
