*NCRPO: Continuous Outreach Program Delivered Various Services to Less Fortunate Communities in Napindan, Taguig; SPD on the Lead*
Recognizing the invaluable support of the community in the fight against all forms of criminality, illegal drugs and terrorism, Team NCRPO under the leadership of PMGEN Felipe R Natividad continuously reaches out to the most vulnerable sectors of society in aid of those who are in dire need.
In line with his, on June 17, 2022, the NCRPO through the Southern Police District- District Community Affairs and Development Division conducted a Community Outreach Program, Livelihood Program, and Seminar/Orientation on NFT-ELCAC in Taguig City.
PBGEN JIMILI L MACARAEG, DD, SPD represented by PLTCOL JENNY DC TECSON, AC, DCADD in coordination with Taguig City Police Station under the leadership of PCOL ROBERT R BAESA, together with Regional Mobile Force Battalion led by PCOL LAMBERT A SUERTE, FC, Regional Mobile Force Battalion along with other police officers distributed hot meals, school shoes and vitamins as well as conducted paper charcoal/rug making, and Seminar on NTF-ELCAC at Purok 6, Ibayo Napindan, Taguig City.
Present during the activity were National Intelligence Coordinating Agency led by Mr. Alvin Mendoza, Assistant Regional Director for Operations of NICA, NCRO; Mr. Migz Espiritu, Operations Officer, NICA, NCRO; and Mr. Danmer John De Guzman, a former CTGFO member.
As part of maximum information dissemination regarding the leftists’ recruitment and their front organizations, lectures on the Rights of A Child and Values Education in relation to Oplan BES, salient feature of E.O 70, Strategies, Modus, and Recruitment process of CPP/NPA/NDF and real life testimony from a former CTGFO member were shared to the members of the community.
Afterwards, DCADD personnel together with Taguig KKDAT facilitated the parlor games which brought fun and excitement to the children as winners received cash prizes.
Likewise, Livelihood Training Services were also offered such as rug and paper charcoal demonstration for the possible creation of essential family income which could help the participants for their daily needs.
A total of 120 beneficiaries of hot meals and vitamins, 60 children benefitted from the school shoes, and 48 children were catered for the free haircut.
Also, team DCADD distributed IEC materials on Retooled Community Support Program/ELCAC, safety tips, RA 9165, RA 9262, COVID-19 awareness, vitamins, and bibles to the participants.
Taking every chances, the Team also proceeded to Napindan Health Center and turned over medicines to Dr. Rossana M. Feliciano, M.D., Attending Physician of the said center for the benefit of the residents.
“Malaki ang role ng ating mga komunidad sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan sa Metro Manila kaya naman bilang pasasalamat at pagbibigay pag asa, hindi tayo tumitigil na sila ay abutin, pagsilbihan, bigyan ng tulong at kaalaman. Binabati ko ang Southern Police District sa patuloy na dedikasyon sa pag abot sa ating mga kababayan sa mga siyudad na inyong nasasakupan,” said PMGEN Natividad.###
