National Capital Region Police Office Regional Director, PMGEN Vicente D Danao Jr., graced the Closing Ceremony of the Public Safety Field Training (PSFTP) Program of Newly Appointed Police Commissioned Officers (NAPCOs) Class 2020-01 “MATALAHIB” on June 22, 2021 at the NCRPO Hinirang Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan Taguig City.
A total of eighty-nine (89) NAPCOs of PSFTP Class 2020-01 “MATALAHIB” have completed their six months on the Job Training (OJT) at the different police stations of the Five Police Districts of the NCRPO. The program aims to provide comprehensive guidelines and structures learning content to facilitate the commissioned officers transitioning from an academic setting to field training where they gain hands-on experience on the field. That is through exposure on actual street experience and the accompanying field problems, patrol situations, investigations and crime incidents, these NAPCOs learn to apply classroom principles to actual scenarios.
In his message, PMGEN Danao congratulated all the participants for successfully completing the program. He further reiterated that as they perform their mandated task, they must be part of the New ERA of change in the organization wherein they should serve as Examples, Responsible and Accountable police officers.
