As part of their strengthened partnership with Australian Federal Police, the National Capital Region Police Office concluded another Police Explosive Reconnaissance Course (PERC) on July 1, 2021 at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.
Said training was composed of personnel from the Regional Explosive Canine Unit – National Capital Region (RECU-NCR), Regional Mobile Force Battalion-NCRPO and other police officers from the different police districts.
The 15-day training aims to equip law enforcers the required knowledge and competency in the field of explosive ordnance detection and identification to better address explosive related incidents, improve investigation and target analysis, and bolster the application of techniques and searching methods during bomb related police operations.
In his message, PMGEN Danao also expressed his gratefulness to the Australian Government particularly to the Australian Federal Police for sponsoring the continuous conduct of the PERC. “With you, NCRPO greatly increase its operational capability to respond to bomb related scenarios in the Metro Manila. With you, we can guarantee the safety of persons, properties and police officers involved in the conduct of police operations,” he said.
He also reminded the graduates to maximize their acquired knowledge and always perform with zeal of excellence. “Para sa mga nasipagtapos, ipamalas ninyo ang inyong kahandaan at kagalingan sa pagresponde kung kakailanganin ang inyong serbisyo. Lagi ninyong uunahin ang iligtas at protektahan ang ating mga kababayan,” PMGEN Danao ended. ###
