NCRPO: Community Outreach/Livelihood Program and Seminar on NTF ELCAC Continues

NCRPO – Police Major General Felipe R Natividad applauded the Southern Police District under the leadership of PBGEN JIMILI L MACARAEG, District Director for the successful and unceasing conduct of Community Outreach/Livelihood Program and Seminar on NTF-ELCAC on May 31, 2022 at around 4:00 PM at Silverio Compound, Purok 5, Barangay San Isidro, Parañaque City.

The said activity was spearheaded by the District Community Affairs and Development Division under the supervision of PLTCOL JENNY DC TECSON, AC, DCADD in coordination with Parañaque CPS under the leadership of PCOL MAXIMO F SEBASTIAN, Chief of Police together with PCOL LAMBERT A SUERTE, RMFB, NCRPO wherein they distributed food packs, vitamins, bottled water, school shoes and facilitated the seminar on NFT-ELCAC, drug awareness and Anti-Cybercrime Awareness.

During the lecture proper, DCADD READY Officers conducted a lecture on Resistance Education Against Drugs for the Youth (R.E.A.D.Y.) and rights of children to KKDAT members and other participants which aimed to educate the youth and parents about the ill effects of drugs and inculcate leadership values.

Afterwards, the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency led by Mr. Alvin Mendoza, Assistant Regional Director for Operations, discussed the salient feature of E.O. 70. Likewise, Mr. Marlon Francisco, Operation Officer, NICA, NCRO discussed the Strategies, Modus and Recruitment process of CCP/NPA/NDF and Mr. Danmer John De Guzman shared his experiences and tasks when he was still with the red and front organizations.

Other services offered were Livelihood Training Services, such as a demonstration on rug and paper charcoal making and free haircut by RMFB personnel. Also, team DCADD conducted distribution of IEC materials on Retooled Community Support Program/ELCAC, safety tips, RA 9165, RA 9262, and COVID-19 awareness to the participants.

A total of 130 beneficiaries of food packs and vitamins while 60 children benefited in the school shoes.

In a message of PMGEN Natividad he said, “the conduct of activities like these support the government’s ELCAC campaign will certainly address decades of atrocities caused by leftist groups. We in NCRPO have been conducting these activities for the longest time to guarantee continuing support to the goals and vision of NTF-ELCAC.”###
