In order to improve the quality of life of the public and communities even in the midst of pandemic, the National Capital Region Police Office partners with Department of Science and Technology through signing a Memorandum of Understanding on November 10, 2021 at the NCRPO Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.
Regional Director, PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR, tied up with DOST NCR headed by their Regional Director, Jose B Patalinjug III in order to conduct Technology Needs Assessment and identify Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) interventions needed for Simula ng Isang Bagong Oportunidad sa Lipunan Program of NCRPO.
The MOU also entails that NCRPO commits to provide support to DOST’s endeavors in Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology.
NCRPO’s SIBOL Program which was initiated to effectively communicate the campaign against poverty coincides with DOST’s CEST wherein among its pillars are Economic Development, Health and Nutrition , Human Resource Development, and Environmental Protection and Conservation .
Sharing the same commitment and passion to deliver services and improve the quality of life of the public and communities, programs and projects are expected between NCRPO and DOST.
