NCRPO -Eight suspects involved in illegal selling of motor vehicles with spurious documents and illegal firearms were arrested by the operatives of the National Capital Region Police Office in three separate operations.

Also, on the evening of the same date, RID-ACTG together with operatives from RMFB-NCRPO, Parañaque CPS, IMEG-NCR, and MPD acted upon the information of a Confidential Informant about illegal selling of firearms to be transacted at Petron Gasoline Station along Macapagal Avenue, Asiana, Parañaque City. During the follow-up operation on September 4, 2021 1:00 PM, said PNP units arrested two (2) other personalities namely Enrique De Guzman and Fernando De Guzman involved in the selling of motor vehicles with spurious documents at Sun Valley Subdivision, Antipolo City. Allegedly, these persons are the source of high-end Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) with spurious documents. Recovered from them were one (1) unit color white Toyota Alphard without plate number, one (1) Hummer H3 color black and other falsified documents.
All arrested persons during the two-day operations underwent inquest proceedings virtually.
When asked about the role of the NBI and police officer in the arrested group, RD DANAO said they might be the leaders of this group. “Since they are law enforcers, I presume they are the leaders. Imagine instead of the PNP protecting the interest of the public pero you are protecting the interest of the criminals,” said PMGEN DANAO.
“We think, this has been ongoing for so long time ago because hindi lang firearms ang binenbenta ng mga ito pati mga vehicles. Kung makikita ninyo yung mga vehicles, this could be a product of carnapping syndicate or “rent-tangay.” he added.
On the other hand he also affirmed that the illegal firearms could be used for personal interests especially that the election is nearly coming. He then appealed to the public especially for the victims to come. “We are encouraging the victims ng mga ito to come out in the open para dagdagan po yung kanilang mga kaso.”
“I would like to issue a strong worded warning to this people especially those who are involved and who will be involved na any law enforcement agency. Lalong lalo na sa PNP na assigned dito sa NCRPO. As the Regional Director of this unit, we will enforce the arm of the law in getting after you. Hindi kami magdadalawang isip to go against you, you take note. We will use the full arm of the law. RD Danao, ended.###
