In line with the intensified operation of Team NCRPO’s campaign against the proliferation of illegal drugs in the Metro, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, National Capital Region Police Office Chief lauds the operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Muntinlupa City Police Station, Southern Police District and agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for the seizure of PHP 686,800.00 worth of alleged shabu during the conduct of Anti-illegal Drug Operation at about 7:30PM on September 20, 2020 at PNR Site, Muntinlupa City.

Investigation disclosed that upon confirmation of the information from a regular confidential informant and validation of the illegal activities of the subject person, a buy-bust operation was hatched.  In coordination with the agents of PDEA, SDEU-Muntinlupa City Police Station, a police officer acted as a poseur buyer and upon consummation of the drug deal, operatives effected the arrest.

Arrested suspect was identified as Ramond Calinog y Pangilinan, 34 years old, jobless, single, and resident of 168 Purok 5 Molina St. Brgy. Alabang, MuntInlupa City.

Confiscated pieces of evidence under the suspect’s possession are:

A.) One (1) piece of medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;

B.) Two (2) pieces of knot Tied transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;

C) Red Eco bag, and;

D) Two (2) pieces of one Thousand Peso Bill with serial numbers PD098311 and PD098312 used as Buy-Bust money.

The markings and inventory of recovered evidences was witnessed by Barangay Kagawad Jeramel Mendoza of Baragay Sucat, Muntinlupa and Mr Ding Bermudez, a media representative.

The recovered more or less 101 grams alleged shabu with DDB estimated value of PHP 686,800 will be turned over to SPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis. While the suspect is currently under the custody of Muntinlupa Custodial Facility pending the filing of appropriate charges in violation of Sec 5 & 11, Art II of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

“The relentless anti-illegal drug operations of SPD that results in numerous arrest of drug personalities as well as seizure of volumes of illegal drugs is truly commendable. This is a manifestation of Team NCRPO’s unceasing effort in curbing the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region,” PMGEN SINAS stated.
