MORE THAN 36M WORTH OF DRUGS SEIZED, 3 HIGH VALUE TARGETS ARRESTED BY NCRPO AND PRO4A OPERATIVES IN CAVITE

The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauded the successful anti-illegal drugs operation by the joint operatives of Cubao Police Station- Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU),  Regional Intelligence Division  (RID) NCRPO, Regional Special Operations Unit (RSOU) PRO-4A and Bacoor City Police Station in close coordination with PDEA – National Operation Center (NOC) which resulted in the confiscation of around Php 36,040,000.00 worth of suspected illegal drugs and arrest of three high value drug personalities.

According to the initial report, the operation stemmed from an intelligence information duly processed and verified by the operatives which resulted in the conduct of a buy bust operation at about 10:45 PM, November 2, 2020 at Block 4, Lot 8, Carson Camilla, Brgy. Molino III, Bacoor City, Cavite wherein one of the lawmen acted as the poseur buyer of shabu.

Upon delivery of the Php 245,000.00 shabu and consumation of the offense, the signal was given for the arrest of the suspects who were later identified to be the following persons thus:

1. Anabel Natividad, a.k.a Anabel Mayol, 52 y/o;

2. Teresita Daan, 52 years of age; and

3 Riza Aguiton, 43 years old, all from Brgy. Molino III, Bacoor City, Cavite.

One of the suspects identified as Raffy Aguiton however was able to escape by riding his motorcycle.

Recovered from the arrested suspects were the following pieces of evidence to wit:

a. One (1) piece of medium sized heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing undetermined amount of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;

b. One (1) piece of medium sized heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing undetermined amount of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;

c. Two (2) pieces of medium sized heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing undetermined amount of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;

d. Five (5) pieces of masking tape wrapped bricks containing undetermined amount of white crystaline substance suspected to be shabu;

e. One (1) Warburn Estate color black box;

f. One (1) piece originally one thousand peso bill and two hundred forty four (244) pieces of photocopied one thousand peso bills used as boodle money;

g. One (1) piece pouch bag color brown and black;

h. One (1) unit Ford Raptor color white bearing plate number NFW 3283

The recovered pieces of evidence were inventoried in the place of apprehension and in the presence of the accused and mandatory witnesses Brgy Kagawad Felix Arevalo of Barangay Molini III, Bacoor Cavite and Mr. Rossel Calderon of GMA 7 as media representative.

The seized suspected illegal drugs were brought to the QCPD Crime Laboratory for confirmatory testing while the suspects were presented before the Office of Bacoor City, Cavite Prosecutors Office for inquest proceedings relative to the filing of charges for Violation of Sec. 5 ( Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Sec. 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Sec. 26 in relation to Sec. 5 (Conspiracy in selling illegal drugs) under Art. II of RA 9165 otherwise knows as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

“I commend the successful anti-illegal drug operation by the NCRPO and PRO4A operatives which resulted in the arrest of these high value drug personalities and seizure of more than 36 Million worth of suspected illegal drugs. May this serve as a warning to those who are engaged in similar unlawful activities that NCRPO will not cease in its endeavor to fight illegal drugs in the Metro,” said PMGEN SINAS.
