Personnel of the Northern Police District Caloocan City Police Station busted more than 2.7 Million pesos worth of suspected illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation held at about 3:20 in the afternoon of September 18, 2020.

The operation stemmed from an information divulged by an arrested suspect for violation of CO 0849, Article 151 of RPC and Sec. 11 of RA 9165 regarding the alleged illegal drug activity of a certain Henry and his partner Joanne and their bosses known as alias Boss Ems and Kuya Saad.

Consequently, a four-day validation, surveillance and intelligence information gathering was conducted and after finding the information report to be meritable, an operation was plotted in coordination with PDEA and with the help of another informant.

The operation resulted in the successful arrest of the suspects who were later identified as Henry Baylon y Bautista and Joana Bolivar y Bayanon at around 1:30 pm of the same date.

Subsequently, an on site interrogation was conducted wherein Henry revealed vital information on the illegal drug movement and modus operandi of their couple bosses. Thus, another drug transaction against the couple bosses was plotted.

Thereafter, the operatives contacted the two target suspects alias Saad and Emma to lure them to deliver their merchandise in an agreed place along Camaro St., Brgy. 175, Camarin, Caloocan City.

Finally, At around 3:20 pm of the same date, the transaction materialized wherein one of the police operatives acted as the Poseur Buyer. This resulted in the arrest of the two suspects who were later identified as EMMA BERAUR Y MALAMBOT, watch listed, female, 33 years old, vendor, married; SAAD BERAUR Y MINOR, watch listed, male, 35 years old, vendor, both of them were residents of Barangay 188, Tala Caloocan City. Further, one CICL was rescued.

Recovered from suspects were the following itmens thus:
one (1) piece of silver weighing scale;
one (1) piece of red Vivo Android Phone;
one (1) piece of BDO ATM debit card;
one (1) piece of Security Bank ATM card;
one (1) piece of AUB ATM card;
one (1) piece of Security Bank Passbook; one (1) piece of 800 Peso savings Passbook; one (1) piece of orange shoulder bag;
Toyota Hl-ACE Van With Plate no. NAX 1789; two (2) pieces of medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu one of which is the subject of sale and four (4) pieces of medium knot tied ice plastic bags containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; and
one (1) piece of genuine One Thousand Peso Bill (Php 1,000.00) incorporated with thirty one (31) pieces of One Thousand/Boodle money used as Buy-Bust money.

The physical inventory of the seized pieces of evidence was conducted at the place of arrest together with mandatory witnesses Brgy. 175 Kagawad James Frederick Cayetano and Media representative Mr. Renato Pedroche of LATIGO News TV.

The suspects are currently detained in the police station and will be facing charges for violation of Section 5 in relation to Section 26 (b) and Section 11, Art ll of RA 9165.
