NCRPO Chief PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO lauds the successful anti- illegal drugs operations of Southern Police District, Eastern Police District and Northern Police District which yielded a total of more or less Php612,000.00 worth of illegal drugs.
Records show that the Parañaque Police conducted a buy bust operation on April 16, 2021 at about 11:50 am infront of Manila Memorial Brgy. BF Homes, Parañaque City resulting in the arrest of three (3) drug suspects.
Suspects were identified as:
1)John Edward Bustamante y Mingao, 28 years old ,single, construction worker:
2)Jennylyn Sumaylo y Balauro, 24 years old, female, single, jobless ,and
3)Jacky Yongco y Estrada,30 years old, male, vendor.
Probe reveals that the Station Drug Enforcement Unit PDEA with Coordination No. 10001-042021-0307 successfully executed the Buy-Bust Operation and confiscated pieces of evidence, such as:
1). Seven (7) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu;
2). Three (3) pieces real Five Hundred (500) peso bill used as Buy-Bust Money.
A total of more or less of 25 grams of shabu with estimated DDB value of Php170,000.00 was seized.
Meanwhile, at about 5:00 pm of the same day, operatives of Mandaluyong City Police Station successfully arrested a drug suspect along Aglipay St., Brgy Pag-asa, Mandaluyong City.
Suspect was identified as John Jaul C Gonzales @ Paul, Male, 34 years old, single and resident of Brgy Pag-asa, Mandaluyong City.
According to the reports submitted by the station, personnel of Station Drug Enforcement Unit with PDEA Coordination No. 10001-042021-0296 conducted a buy-bust operation wherein a police officer acted as a poseur buyer. As soon as the deal was consummated, Gonzales was arrested.
Confiscated from him were the following pieces of evidence:
1). Two (2) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 50 grams with estimated DDB value of Php 340,000.00.
2). One (1) piece genuine one thousand (1,000.00) peso bill together with thirty-four (34) pieces fake one-thousand peso-bill (use as buy-bust money)
Seized illegal drugs were referred to EPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
Consequently, on the same day at about 6:00 pm, personnel of District Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a planned Buy-bust operation against two drug suspects at Riverside St. Corner Domato Avenue Brgy. 188 Caloocan City. Said operation resulted in the arrest of Sandra D Morta aka “Kirat”, 35 years old, single, jobless; and Remey L Fortuna, 51 years old, single, and Jobless.
Investigation disclosed that a poseur buyer was able to transact with the suspects. Upon consummation of the drug deal, poseur buyer signaled to back up team and effected their arrest.
Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:
- Two (2) pieces medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing undetermined amount of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; and
- One (1) piece genuine 1 thousand peso bill incorporated with 19 pieces 1 thousand boodle money
Seized items with estimated weight of more or less 15 grams with DDB value amounting to 102,000 pesos were turned over to Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
Arrested suspects were under the custody of the operating unit pending the filing of charges for violation of Sections 5, 11 and 26 of Art II RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
