Police operation which stemmed from vital RIU – NCR generated information which resulted in the arrest of Manila Police District’s top 10 most wanted person at about 5:00 PM yesterday, May 17, 2020.
National Capital Region Police Office Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS identified the accused as Hector Hizon y Gutierrez, Manila’s Top 10 Most Wanted Person.
The operation was conducted along Onix Street, Barangay 775, San Andres, Manila by joint operatives of RIU-NCR, Manila Police District Intelligence Operating Unit (DPIOU), and Manila Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU).
Initial investigation disclosed that the aforesaid operating units conducted a manhunt operation following vital intelligence data gathered by RIU-NCR regarding the whereabouts of Manila’s Top 10 most wanted person.
This resulted in the arrest of accused by virtue of a standing Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case Number R-MNL-17-048-46-CR, issued by the Hon. Maria Paz R. Reyes-Yson, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 54, City of Manila.

Despite the challenges we are facing amid this health crisis, I am positive that we will be able to overcome them with ease through prayers and dedication to duty,” said PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS.
The accused was taken under the custody of DPIOU, MPD for documentation and processing.
