MANDALUYONG POLICE- ARRESTED 3 DRUG SUSPECTS, RESCUED 2 MINORS AND CONFISCATED MOL 102 GRAMS OF SHABU

PMGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR., Chief, NCRPO lauds the Mandaluyong City Police Station under PCOL GAUVIN MEL Y UNOS, Chief of Police in coordination with 5th MFC Intel Operatives of Regional Mobile Force Battalion- NCRPO under the over all supervision of PCOL LAMBERT A SUERTE, Force Commander, RMFB for the successful Buy-Bust operation on June 26, 2021 at about 10:30 PM along Blk 6 Brgy Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City which resulted in the arrest of the 3 suspects and rescue of 2 minors.

Suspects were identified as :Jerico H Emaas, 27 years old, single, and jobless; Ricky Borjal 34 years old, single, and jobless ; and Dairic Ganaban 23 years old, single, construction worker, and resident of Brgy Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City.

Meanwhile, rescued minors were both male aged 14 and 13 years old and are also resident of Brgy Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City

Initial report disclosed that one of the police officers acted as a poseur buyer. Operative purchased (1) one piece hot sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu worth Php8,000.00. Accordingly, suspects tasked the two minors to become their look out. Upon consumation of the deal operatives effected their arrest.

Recovered pieces of evidence from the suspects were:

One (1) small piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with estimated weight of MOL 5 grams with Standard Drug Price worth Php 34,000.00. (subject of sale).

b. One (1) piece one thousand (Php 1,000) peso bill together with seven (7) pieces fake one thousand peso bills used as buy-bust money. (recovered from S1).

c. Seven (7) pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with estimated weight of MOL 37 grams with Standard Drug Price worth Php 251,600.00. (recovered from S1).

d. One (1) piece big heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with estimated weight of MOL 50 grams with Standard Drug Price worth Php 340,000.00. (recovered from S1).

e. One (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with estimated weight of MOL 5 grams with Standard Drug Price Php 34,000.00. (recovered from S2). worth

f. One (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with estimated weight of MOL 5 grams with Standard Drug Price worth Php 34,000.00. (recovered from S3).

g. One (1) sling bag (recovered from S1).

A total of Php693,600.00 worth of suspected shabu has been confiscated.

The markings and inventory of the pieces of evidence recovered was conducted at the place of arrest and witnessed by Barangay Kagawad Danilo Salvador of Barangay Addition Hills, this City, DOJ representative Ms. Ma. Ayesa Dizon and two media representative Andrew Jay Rollon of ABS-CBN and Tristan Francis Alcantara of Eagle Broadcasting Corporation.

Subsequently, above mentioned suspects and drug-related evidence recovered were referred to EPD Crime Lab.
Suspects were apprised of their constitutional rights during the arrest and were brought to the SDEU office along with the recovered evidence for proper disposition.

The two (2) Child-at risk were also turned over to Bahay Pag-asa (DSWD).

PMGEN DANAO acknowledged the team effort and dedication of the operatives that led to the successful arrest of the drug suspects and rescue of the minors.
