In line with the intensified cleanliness policy of Chief PNP, the National Capital Region launched a simultaneous Regionwide station and community clean-up drive and MOU signing this 20th Day of May, 2021 themed as: ” BARANGAY NATIN, AYUSIN AT LINISIN! “. This endeavor is a component of RD, NCRPO’s OPLAN LITIS drive, a PCR-driven INTENSIFIED CLEANLINESS POLICY (ICP) campaign and a BARANGAYanihan initiative purposely to further promote the culture of cleanliness, unity & discipline in the community.
The project aims to ensure that all police units/offices are clean and organized. Moreover, it aims to promote cleanliness in the community which is essential for a healthy living.
Towards this end, a total of 296 MOUs were signed and 556 activities were launched in partnership with 751 different advocacy groups together with 2, 316 PNP personnel, 884 individuals from KKDAT,1829 Officers from the Barangay, and 4156 other volunteers.
Collected during the activity were around 93, 017 kilograms of waste products and materials all gathered from different police stations, barangay halls, esteros, streets and other public areas/places.
After the clean-up drive, Memorandum of Agreements (MOUs) with the participating advocacy groups were signed containing the commitment to conduct weekly community clean-up drive and promote strengthened enforcement of environmental and public health and safety ordinances.
“Lubos po akong nagpapasalamat sa mga grupo at indibidwal na tumulong sa atin sa pagpapalawig ng ating kampanya na linisin hindi lamang ang ating mga opisina at police stations kundi pati ang ating kapaligiran at ang buong komunidad.
