NCRPO, through the Office of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (ORCADD) conducted Crime Prevention and Skills Enhancement Seminar (CPSES) to twenty-five (25) participants composed of force multipliers, security guards and concerned citizens on July 17, 2019 (Wednesday) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM held at the Third Floor, EPA Building, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.
During the activity, PSSg Charlie Heirdin E Tan, Action PNCO, PIS, RCADD, under the supervision of PCOL JEMAR D MODEQUILLO, Chief, RCADD, discussed the common modus operandi, crime prevention tips, self-defense, arresting techniques, human rights and use of force theories. Afterwards, demonstrations and performance of unarmed defense, distance bridging, unbalancing, and arresting technique drills were conducted.
A total of twenty-three (25) Pulis Serbis Balita gazettes and PNP Journal magazines and 161 flyers on Crime Prevention, Anti-Violence Against Women and Children, Anti-Rape, Earthquake Preparedness, Typhoon/Flood Preparedness, Anti-Illegal Drugs, and Anti-Bomb Threat containing ISMOT Hotline numbers of the NCRPO were distributed during the activity.
